Subway in Baltimore

“Came in around lunch time on a Sunday, behind 5 people with another 5 behind me and the 3 girls working that day had my sub ready within a few minutes of me getting in line. I was very satisfied with my meal, and it only cost $2 and some change as per subway's customer appreciation special.“

“App was easy to use.Placed notes in box and Subway hit the nail on the head!Sandwich was made neatly, wrapped securely And delivered within estimated time frame.The delivery person was very polite and friendly.Vegetarian options: There are good options for a basic veggie sandwich.Parking: The lot is shared with other businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a flat entrance onto curb and into food place. There is ample space for wheel chairs 3 or more.“

“That gas station chicken isn't that bad but the one I had tasted like it was sitting there a bit too long. Not sure if that's the regular taste of the chicken or if it was really sitting but the honey biscuits was bussing bussing. I'd eat this chicken at times id know my normal favs are closed or far away or last minute, short time type scenerios.“

“This is now the *only* Subway I go to. Frankly, I never went to Subway until I discovered this place. The ingredients here seem exceptionally fresh & I am never shortchanged on them. I kno older reviews have a lot of complaints about not getting all the ingredients, etc.- but that must have been under a previous management. It's why I always sort reviews by most recent first.I always have particular tastes w/my orders & there is one employee at this location who knows exactly how to make my sandwich and he is always there when I go. (I will get his name & update my review.) I get the Double Monster in a wrap (instead of a roll) w/specific choices (Beef, Bacon, Pepper Jack Cheese, Chipolte sauce & all the toppings except jalapeños). He puts the ingredients in a specific order that he knows will work best. And tho it is a challenge to get the wrap to roll around all those ingredients - he gets it done perfectly every time. It's an art to watch & everyone in the store stops to watch him do it. The other employee kindly calls him from the back to come out when they see me enter the store...b/c they know I would like him to make my sandwhich. The other employee has made my sandwhich & did a perfectly good job - but there is a special rapport I have w/the one who regularly makes my sandwhich. And we have fun while he makes it.I always leave a good cash tip tho I pay by credit card for the sandwhich. I do this in most food shops & restaurants I go to b/c I don't know for sure whether the employees get the full tip in the credit card. Some places, the owners take a share of the tip on credit cards. It's the main reason I still carry cash around :-). Will update w/employee's name.“

“I stopped here today to pick up lunch/dinner and was pleasantly surprised by receiving excellent customer service even while the manager was training his staff! I was addressed by name when I walked in for my online order and was checked out warm smile from the cashier. Great experience all around. I'll definitely go back.“

“I was in the area on 7-11 and someone mentioned that they were having free six inch subs for free and you didn't have to make a purchase. I was really pressed for time. It wasn't busy when I arrived. It was nice and clean inside. I asked an employee if they were giving away a free six inch sub and they responded yes. I then placed my order for turkey and cheese on Italian herb and cheese bread with everything. It was delicious. Even though it wasn't a requirement I did get some jalapeno chips to go with my sandwich. I never did find out why they were offering the promo but, I was glad to be able to take advantage of the free six inch sub. It was great for my lunch. Thanks Subway.“

“I have been discriminated against all over this city. Almost every store/restaurant demands that they know ADA law and that my service dog can’t come in or must have paperwork. This is one of the very few places where they were actually kind and appropriate to me. Will definitely eat there again.“

“I don't think you could go wrong with subway.If you didn't know, no subway is the same! And they each offer something special.This one for my vegetarians out there, rejoice! They have a veggie patty available. And I think it's pretty good and better then just the veggie delight. I would ask for it to be toasted a little extra. Twice it had a cold center, not completely disgusting still was able to eat it.I'm not sure if the patty is vegan. I would assume it is not, something that to hold it together. Would have to ask.“

“I brought a Italian coldcut whole sub and my daughter in-law received a half sub with cookies the store really made both sub real nice I was shock with the price a whole and half sub and cookies 18.45 that is high for a Subway but the sub were good“

“Surprisingly, this was a VERY clean Subway. The server washed their hands and selected fresh gloves before preparing my sandwich. I was in & out in minutes & the prices are reasonable and what you expect from a Subway chain. It's in a mini strip mall with very limited parking, so be prepared to hunt for a space.“

“This was the first Subway I've ever been to where they had hot soup in stock; it wasn't a disappointment, either. The soup (broccoli cheddar) was rich, flavorful and steamy hot, perfect for a cold and rainy day like today. The staff is friendly and they prepare the sandwiches just as you want - they're not stingy with the toppings, either. Nice dining area, as well; everything was very clean and well-kept. Yes, it's a standard Subway with all of the features that you'd expect a Subway to have, but this one is well-run and it's obvious the employees here care about their customers. Well done! Tip For Diabetics: Subway is surprisingly not as healthy as the commercials would have you believe. Sure, it's great for folks that want to lose weight - but for diabetics? The menu is very, very limited here. Salad - that's about all you'll be able to afford. Not to say that salad isn't good, but sometimes you get really sick of it after a while. But, to their credit, Subway does a really good one. I normally get a grilled chicken and baby spinach salad with onions, pickles, olives and banana peppers - and, yes, I add bacon. That's the ONE plus about being diabetic - no limit on the types of meat and that includes bacon. GLORIOUS bacon.... oh, wait, I digress. A splash of oil and vinegar, and you've got a pretty decent salad for under 2 carb choices. Watch it if you're going to get a sandwich, though. “If it's a decently made sub sandwich for a modest price, this place fits the bill just about every time. The gentleman making the food was efficient and polite. The food has always been consistent from store to store and that's always a good thing.“

“Consistent food as with other subways. Location is convenient to those traveling through Arbutus. Prices are reasonable and food is fresh. Sometimes there's difficulty with parking in this area is that little tiny parking lot fills up quickly.“

“This is my favorite Subway in Baltimore. I just wish they were open later but I understand labor shortages/ safety of employees.Every time im there the employees seem to be in a genuine good mood and are always friendly. The manager (i think she is at least) is nice to her employees and patient with them when they don't know how to do something.They place is always clean and the line moves fast.“

“Speed of service was fast the food was delicious they were wearing gloves while serving the food but I didn't see any sanitize water at the end of the line and it did not wipe down the line with sanitizer as they was going along now right there with build up food “

“This subway is a great regular lunch spot employees are quick, kind and responsive. I feel bad whenever they receive a mobile order because the new order alert sound is a loud and repetitive alarm. If they are working on a sub they cant just stop, deglove, press the confirmation button to silence it, reglove and finish the sub. Subway should consider changing that sound or workers with ptsd might start quitting from the potential trigger.“

“The Best Subway I've ever eaten in. Everything was super fresh but the friendly attentive staff is what really made a difference. I ate in and they actually took the time to ask me if my sub was ok. If every Subway was run like this, I'd never eat anywhere else.“

“Security Square Mall has been around for a very very long time. I remember Security Mall being one of the most busiest malls in Baltimore County to looking like they were going to close because vendors and businesses were leaving. I haven't been there in a while nor done a full walkthrough but I did so on this visit. I was pleasantly surprised to see this more mall has more vendors, kiosks, and things going on than it had before! This mall is perfect for almost anything! They continue to be a hangout for teenagers, but I'm not upset about that... I was a teenager once and this is where I hung out. They have hair salons, barber shops, clothing stores, shoe stores, music kiosks, shirt makers and not just one but several, makeup stands, and they still manage to house the large department stores like Sears and Macy's. This place even has a furniture store here! Can you believe it? I have no issues with Security Square Mall because they continue to give the community what they want and I noticed they still have a few great stores that have always been popular such as as well as The Great Cookie, Claire's, Gold Bakery and I forgot Things Remembered. Security Mall could use an upgrade especially since it isn't going anywhere and I think they definitely deserve one but I'll continue to shop there no matter how it looks because they always come through in the clutch and I need things for my kids! I have no issue with parking other than they need to redo the parking lot. The lines are running into each other, uneven, and kind of makes no sense. But I'm also used to it, so I know how to deal with it. And it could always be worse. Another thing regarding parking / Transportation, there's several bus routes that come here so it allows workers and shoppers to get here at ease. I was once was one of the individuals that had to use that bus line to get there so I definitely appreciate it! Kudos to Security Square Mall for lasting more than 30 plus years!“

“I placed my order through the app and all 4 items were made to order. The app was easy to navigate. When I arrived, my order was ready. I just had to grab the chips and fountain drinks. I'm glad I ordered ahead, because there was a line to place an order inside the store. From what I saw, it was clean inside.“

“I went to subway to buy a sub on this day and I was greeted at this location. I come to subway every once in a while and most of the time I get terrible service. Today was not such a day. Hats off to the crew at this location. If only the food would match the service it would be 5 stars“

“Located inside of Sinai Hospital and very convenient. I visit this location on a regular basis because they are open 24 hours. Good food and as always fresh. The tomatoes could be more ripe instead of green. My sandwich was put together messy which is reflective of the service in my opinion.Vegetarian options: Veggie delight and veggie patties are good vegetarian options.“

“Very good food with red tomatoes every time I go. Often at other locations, where the tomatoes are still green and not very ripe. “I went to take advantage of the "New Sweet Onion Steak Sub". Let me just say that it's just a steak sub with the sweet onion sauce on it which I thoroughly enjoy anyway. I mean, I used to put that on my seafood sub all the time-Aaahh sweet memories! The store was clean, the gentleman that made my sub washed his hands before he started and put gloves on. And this is one of the few locations that take coupons soooooo this my new spot!!!!“

“Stopped in and wow! Love this place. I got the cutlet sandwich with mozzarella, broccoli rabe, and pesto (#3 I believe). It was wonderfully tasty and nicely balanced! I find that sandwiches often have too much bread and not enough filling but the ratio was perfect! As a lover of broccoli rabe, I was happy with how well it had been prepared. I'll be back again soon to have more- definitely want to taste their other options!“

“The staff was courteous and the food was fresh. We went right at lunchtime but the wait wasn't long at all. This was inside Johns Hopkins Hospital. It was very clean.Features: There was someone cleaning the whole time we were there. All the staff had masks ?.“

“This store was ok. A typical subway. Fresh bread clean environment and quick. I only gave it 3 stars because the owner/employee at the register didn't know how to work it. And due to the fact I get weekly coupons and they had to discuss whether to let me use it.“

“I try to go here at least once a month to get a 30 minute massage and I'm never disappointed. I told my ex girlfriend about it and introduced my new girlfriend to this place and she's happy about it. If you work on your feet a lot then this is a place I highly recommend that you tray yourself to a massage.“

“For starters, the food at this specific Subway is especially good. But the service is even better! They hand you your food in baskets if you are eating there, unlike other Subways. In addition it is very clean and decorative, with great placement of products. If you are close to this Subway and you are hungry, I recommend coming here.“

“Stop here often for lunch while working in the area. It's an above average SubWay, clean and the line moves fast. The reason I'm leaving this review is because a customer was giving the staff a hard time over cookies. He took them and paid for them, brought them to the bathroom and then tried to say they were no good. He insisted on cutting the line to complain, the staff told him he needed to wait and they'd warm them up. He then threw a tantrum, called the owner and corporate, saying he's been treated rudely and that the staff need to be fired. I want the franchise owner to know his staff handled the situation well and the customer was the problem.“

“I do not usually have problems at this location. The only problem is have is one of the workers by the name of SOLTAN does not change his gloves. I be having to tell him to change his gloves before prepping my meal. It’s human decency to not cross contaminate. So please when you’re getting your food make sure to tell him to change his gloves and wash his hands.“

“I come to this subway a few times a week in the mornings and I enjoy it. There’s a woman that works in the mornings that always makes my sandwich really good. Sometimes the vegetables could be fresher, but that’s probably out of the workers’ control not really sure.“

“I ordered a footlong Hotshot Italiano sub for $10.29 via a mobile order and they made it right in time. I had customized it to have less tomatoes and more jalapeños and they followed through. A good Subways location despite the surrounding area being sketchy.“

“My mom and I stopped by there yesterday after she received a Subway gift card as an early birthday gift from my brother. It was our first time visiting that location, the staff was awesome, our food was good and correct, the store was in good shape and clean, even gave my mom extra bowl of banana peppers as a little surprise which was nice. “The shop appears clean and the employees are friendly. The only sandwich I've ever ordered is the Spicy Italian on Italian herbs and cheese bread with lettuce, tomato, onions, hot and sweet peppers. Oh, and pepper jack cheese. All of the fixins are fresh. I usually get a 6", but the last time I got a foot long. Two days of goodness! The next time I'm going to try a Spicy Italian wrap.“
