My friend and I did the bottle of Chardonnay and it was honestly so good, dry and sweet. I do the peach pecan salad and my friend did the smash burger. My salad had dressing and flavor on EVERY piece of lettuce, it was so impressive. The smash burger was perfect and these are the best fires I've had in Fed. The vibes are on. Service is great. “This was one of my favorite meals I’ve ever had. The service was exceptional from beginning to end. The restaurant is elegantly decorated but not flashy. The wine pairings with each course was a wonderful touch and everything matched beautifully. The highlights were definitely the carbonara, the scallops, and the tiramisu, but every we ate was excellent. If you are looking for a place for a birthday, fancy date night, or anniversary, this is an excellent option right by the water.“
“What a fantastic meal my husband and our son had. Son has been to many restaurants around the world and we all thoroughly enjoyed this one. We tried many different dishes and split them . These included the sour dough bread , liver pate, Sussex smokie, mackerel and of course had a delicious dessert after. The service and the food were fantastic.“

“I love this wine and sake bar in Remington. From the ambient lighting to the modern decor this is a great spot for pre- post- dinner drinks. There's also Chachi's on site for food. I've been coming here since 2019 and it's always a solid spot. They do include a 20% service fee for all orders. On this occasion, I came to their Gut High wine tasting event. It was so spectacular - from local to international natural wines. It's definitely a hipster cool spot in the city!“

We didn't have the chance to try the food except for a very nice cheese plate, but everything our neighbors ordered looked delicious!“

“5/5 for sure!!! I visited last Thursday with a friend. They have a specific menu for Thursdays and Sundays-brunch menu. There is a jazz band on Fridays and Saturdays. We ordered the chicken Alfredo egg rolls, Thai chili wings, Peruvian wings, and salmon deviled eggs. The green sauce for the Peruvian wings was on point!!! I wish we received 4 instead of 2 deviled eggs. They were amazing. We had the housemade red sangria and strawberry coconut margarita. Everything was amazing. We missed the 50-cent wings as they are only available 5-7pm.My only complaint is the seating. The high top tables have high chairs that don't seem to be stable. I did feel like I was going to fall out of my chair. My friend felt unstable in hers as well.“

“Slide through here on a Saturday to catch up with a friend of mines & must say had a great time. The parking is a little tricky one of those might gotta circle round once or twice situations. Must say it's a great place to watch the game especially if you are a Raven fan. The bartenders were awesome & you get a free shot every time the Ravens score. I really enjoyed it. Grand Cru has more variety of mezcal and sotol than I've seen in any other bar, so that was pretty cool.“

“I called Prim & Proper to inquire if they could print personalized menus, and was told they could not not. I was hoping to have commemorative menus for my birthday dinner. Upon arrival, I used the valet parking ($15). You're met with a beautiful piano in the grand foyer. As you approach the reception desk, there's a bar to the left, and the main dining area to the right. The bar was busy, but the main dining area wasn't crowded. Upon request, we were allowed to dine in the private dining room that seats twelve people, even though we were a party of two. They were very accommodating. AESTHETICS: 5/5 Aesthetically, it is a beautiful space decorated with French bistro tiles. The servers were clad in striking yellow/mustard hued jackets. The artwork on the walls were interesting; lots of floating heads. The tables in the main dining room were situated very close together. Note: On the website, there is a dress code specified. However, I noticed two tables with athletic wear (i.e., hoodies and sneakers). SERVICE: 4.5/5 It took a while to put our order in. Upon inquiry, we learned there were only two servers working. We had Forest as our server. He was animated and cheerful. He was also thoughtful in ways that provided an elevated experience. When my friend stepped away to use the restroom, he nicely folded her napkin. He also brought two complimentary glasses of champagne for my birthday toast. He's a gem. THE FOOD: 4.5/5 We ordered a lot of food! First thing, they do not serve ANY bread (Hint! Hint!). That was a shocker. For appetizers we ordered two of the crab croquettes and the deviled eggs. The crab croquettes were so delicious, we ordered a second one. The deviled eggs were okay. I wouldn't reorder them, but they're worth trying. For the entrees, we had the lamb, and braised oxtails served with a side of sweet potato puree. It was quite tasty. It didn't have the gamey taste lamb often carries. The oxtails were huge! Three large, fall of the bones, perfectly seasoned oxtails. The accompanied bean paste was a bit salty and there was too much sauce/gravy since there was no starch with the entree. Perhaps consider offering a side of coconut basmati rice to sop up the sauce (Hint! Hint!) We shared the bread pudding for dessert. The portions were sizable. Everything seems to be a la carte. THE DRINKS: 3/5 I initially ordered the French Martini and didn't like it. It tasted medicinal. My friend didn't like her drink either and sent hers back. We both subsequently ordered the Lemon Drop and it was perfectly crafted. The specialty cocktails on the menu need tweaking to find the right balance of palette pleasing flavors. VERDICT: The food was excellent, the drinks needed improvement, and the service was great once we got started. I would return, but with tempered expectations as they workout operational challenges. I believe in due time, they will hit their stride.“
