“We stopped here for a late lunch. It was a little crowded, with limited tables. However, people come in and out quickly so we didnt have to wait too long for a table. I loved the empanadas! The Lomo Saltado and the plantain and cheese one were amazing!! The chicken with the yellow sauce was also so good! They were out of yucca by the time we got there so looking forward to trying that next time! Also saw a sign that they serve Ceviche on Saturdays so would love to try that!“

“Chicken Rico’s Rosedale is excellent for purchasing items for meal prep. They sell small and large trays of delicious Chaufa rice and paired with a number 1 family meal you have enough food for the week. The food is absolutely delicious!

The mild yellow and spicy green sauces are delicious especially on the Chaufa rice. The chicken is well seasoned and compliments the plantains and rice perfectly. Good portions.

The staff is great and I get to practice my Spanish. They are friendly and accommodating.

There is ample seating and plenty drinks. There are multiple televisions with soccer games, news and general television shows playing simultaneously.“

“One of the best sweet plantains I’ve had (Salvadoran style), and large portions for sides. The atmosphere is my favorite part. Very clean and homely with the walls littered in home plants and other bric-a-brac; like I’ve been invited over for dinner in their home. I would have given 5 stars if the chicken and yuca were a little less dry. With that said, I’ll be coming back!“
