“The food tastes good, but sometimes it's too salty, like yesterday the ceviche had so much salt you could see it at the bottom of the plate. The service surprises me more and more each time. A couple of weeks ago we went to eat, they seated us and took our order, and a few moments later a group of about 8 people arrived. The waitress told us she was going to move us to another table, she took our silverware and the complimentary corn nuts to the other table and seated the group at the table where we were sitting. I didn't think that was right. If they arrived after us, they should have waited for a table to become available, like in other restaurants. Yesterday, 12/19/25, we ordered 3 meals at 12 PM by phone. The waitress told me 25 minutes. I arrived 45 minutes later, giving them plenty of time, and even then the order wasn't ready. She made me wait another 10 minutes, while people who arrived to order after me received their orders faster. The food is delicious, the portions are large, and the decorations are nice, but they need to work on their customer service. LA COMIDA TIENE BUEN SABOR, AVECES SE PASAN DE SAL, COMO AYER EL CEVICHE TENIA TANTA SAL QUE SE VEIA EN EL FONDO DEL PLATO. EL SERVICIO ME SORPRENDE CADA VEZ MAS, HACE UN PAR DE SEMANAS FUIMOS A COMER, NOS SENTARON Y NOS TOMARON LA ORDEN, Y UNOS MOMENTOS DESSPUES LLEGO UN GRUPO DE UNAS 8 PERSONAS, LA MESERA NOS DIJO QUE NOS IBA A MOVER A OTRA MESA, SE LLEVO LOS CUBIERTOS, LA CANCHITA QUE DAN A LA OTRA MESA Y SENTÓ AL GRUPO EN LA MESA EN DONDE ESTABAMOS, ESO NO ME PARECIO BIEN. SI ELLOS LLEGARON DESPUES DE NOSOTROS DEBIERON ESPERAR A QUE UNA MESA SE DESOCUPÉ, COMO EN OTROS RESTAURANTES. AYER 12/19/25 PEDIMOS 3 MENUS A LAS 12PM POR TELÉFONO, LA MESERA ME DIJO 25 MINUTUS, YO LLEGUE 45 MINUTOS DESPUES, DANDOLES TIEMPO SUFICIENTE Y AUN ASI LA ORDEN NO ESTABA LISTA, ME HIZO ESPERAR UNOS 10 MINITOS MÁS, MIENTRAS TANTO GENTE QUE LLEGO A ORDENAR DESPUES QUE YO LE DABAN SU ORDEN MAS RÁPIDO. LA COMODA ES RICA, LAS PORCIONES SON GRANDES, LAS DECORACIONES BONITAS, PERO EL SERVICIO AL CLIENTE DA MUCHO QUE DESEAR.“

After 6 years of traveling all over the world, I've never been to another restaurant that really water my mouth whenever I reminisce about Maryland.I grew up here, I worked at the nearby medical offices on Rockville Pike. Every lunch, id walk to this restaurant rain, shine, or sleet and order practically the same thing. A half chicken, Yucca, and Plantains. I knew the owner, he knew me as well. I told him my stories of my travels through the Peruvian Amazons, the dry highlands of Arequipa, and the coastal fishing villages in Paracas. It was truly one of my favorite experience.As for the food, it's not a five star restaurant, nor it has won any awards, or gain perfect ratings on Google Maps. It's a restaurant that you go to for lunch. It's hearty, warm, cozy meal that to me, it's perfect.I hope you give them a try and understand their flavors.Thanks for reading.“

“I have ate and picked up takeout many times at the Crisp & Juicy on my way home from running errands or after a long bike ride and the food is always good and the service friendly. Today I got the Grill combination platter and the fries were cooked to perfection, nice and crispy. The chicken and sausage were delicious. If you want consistently yummy food at a good price make the crisp and juicy one of your regular spots.“

“I went to Crisp and Juicy on April 23rd, in the evening alone. I hadn't been to the restaurant in a long time, so I was a little indecisive on what I wanted. The young lady that was at the register was as sweet as could be, and I'm sorry I didn't get her name. I wanted to order a platter for 2, and asked what her recommendation was to feed 2 people. So, I ordered what she recommended, and asked for a lot of sauce. The order came up quick, and I thanked her. Bless her. She gave me so much sauce. I just wanted everyone to know how much this impacted my evening, because my oldest daughter Ayanna loved your restaurant! She was murdered in 2020. She was 18 years old. This small act really touched my heart. Thank you! 🥰🥰🥰“
