Just a great spot to get authentic Nicaraguan food. Delicious! Definitely get your money’s worth. You will leave with leftovers.
Authentic cuisine super friendly service. It's a paper plates, plastic cutlery kinda place but if you need a fritanga fix this is it. Thumbs up, can recommend.
Gio’s chicken is the only place in the DMV that makes me feel like I’m in the homeland with their delicious authentic nicaraguan dishes. Definitely will be coming more often. Service was great, the staff is very friendly and took their time to explain all my questions. Definitely worth the money.

Gio's Sazon Nicaraguense is a wonderful Nicaraguan restaurant with delicious food. The family that owns it are sweet and kind. The menu is varied and serves Nicaraguan style chicken. The carne asada is amazing and bomb. The nacatamales are bien rico and heavenly. Portions are really good, filling, and more than enough. It is a great place to try for a twist on Hispanic food. The Nicaraguan presence in the area is low, making this a special find. The flavor is there, the food is great, and it comes highly recommended. It is a great spot to check out.
