“WOW I'm inpressed! I've been eating Philly subs for over 50 years and I just had the best sub ever. This is the first time I've been to a Jersey Mike's and from the minute I walked in I was given a friendly greeting that actually sounded sincere. The shop looked very clean and had just the right ambiance. Service was surprisingly fast too.The best part though was when I brought the sub home. Even though it had cooled on my drive home, It was absolutly delicious! It was chock full of tender steak and cheese and made exactly how I like it (lettuce,peppers, fried onions, olive oil and oregano). It was absolutley delicious! I will be back.”

“We have probably visited PC 10x in the last 2 months alone. The food is affordable, quick but fresh, so hot & delicious in every bite, plenty in every plate and as a family we are appreciative if we can check all those boxes! You can order online to pickup. Atmosphere is clean and spacious. The seating is a little uncomfortable with wood benches or chairs, but no cushions and a little hard for the kids to eat over their plates but not a major concern. I was a little disappointed in their beverage selection. Horchata/tamarindo juices seemed to be from a mix and was "syrup-y sweet". Fridge drinks, lots of standard soda and high fructose options. Would be nice to have some more natural options. We appreciate the cold and tasty free water dispenser - so that makes up for it! :) Thank you pollo central for saving lunch AND dinner!”

“I called at the last minute to get 50 pieces of chicken and 48 biscuits for a repass. The manager was very accommodating, polite and friendly. I arrived at the restaurant and waited a max of 15 minutes for the chicken and biscuits. Beyond grateful and satisfied customer.”

“I had the Chicken Chorizo wrap and it was cheesey, crunchy and really tasty. I also ordered a blueberry smoothie that was blueberry rich but not too sweet. I also had a snickerdoodle cookie that was soft delicious and not too sweet. I always enjoy my experience here.Vegetarian options: Just don't order meat or you can. Order from many fruit/ vegetable options on the menu. Its really accomodating for vegetarians.Parking: This is a shopping area so you'll have to find a spot wherever you can.”

“The managers seems to be on top of his business and I appreciate that as a customers. The staff for the most part has been polite. I will do my best to be mindful as well.2/2/24Older lady gets upset I am cleaning my glasses and when notice her noticing me(watching me). I got the sense a gentleman who works here a tall guy olive skin who usually goes out of his way to greet me. Ask me “good morning” I say that because the context in which he says it. Was clearly to confront me for what he thought he heard. This gentleman in the past has gone out of his way to greet me and idc if he has done before with other people but he seems almost obsessed to engage me and that makes me uncomfortable. In addition to it was clear he was confronting me and I said said “good morning”. And turned my back on him because he’s not someone of importance. I just don’t appreciate being confronted due to a lack of communication. From experience I know that he would still confront me even if he understood this lady was being dramatic and because he could relate to her one way or another he would still try to portray me as the villain.PS,I hate to complain but I have to when I see I am being confronted or it’s important. If it’s valid it’s valid. Regardless”

“Came in right at closing time and Jazz took care of my order even though they were right about to close. My order only took about 10 mins and I was on my way! Thank You DJ Jazzy Jazz! You're the man and I hope you get a raise! This location in Aspen Hill has become my favorite Papa John's Pizza location because even though some people may complain about the customer service, I've never had a bad experience here and I've been ordering both Delivery and Carryout from here for years!!”

“First and foremost, the food is good. I highly recommend getting the bowl every time. You get the biggest bang out of your buck if you do. I always double the veggies. The carnitas and chicken taste great. They could stand to give people more meat though. One time I only had a scoop of carnitas (shredded pork of sorts). Had to scoop through my bowl to find it.Though idk if other Chipotles are like this, if a customer is ordering something that requires waiting (whether it's more of a certain meat or vegetable that they ran out of), please assist the other people in line. The last time I went, the line didn't move for about 20 minutes. That's my second critique even though the service is typically good.It's almost always busy. In the mornings it's not as bad. I like this place. Definitely one of the better Chipotles in the area”

“Everything at Menya is completely mind-blowing and it's the best ramen I've had outside of Japan. It's a little hard to visit here especially with their hours but every time I can make the trip over to DC I always make an effort to come here. Their food stays consistent and service is incredible. It's amazing to watch how in synch the entire team is and they have an open kitchen where you can watch the staff make the endless bowls of ramen! The karaage is a MUST-TRY it's so incredibly crispy on the outside but perfectly juicy on the inside. It's also paired with a yuzu dipping sauce and it brings the chicken to a whole other level, 10/10. My favorite ramen is the Spicy Tonkotsu because it includes a house made chili spice that really brings a nice kick to their traditional Tonkotsu broth. You really can't go wrong with anything on their menu because each type of ramen is so incredible in its depth of flavor.”

But the music blasting spoiled the experience for me - and I was solo so wasn't trying to chat, which would have been impossible to hear anything!”

“I hadn’t been here in years since they changed ownership. Looking at some of the reviews I was leery. Boy am I glad that I didn’t listen. Went here for dinner last night and everything was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken, fried catfish, lambs, crab cakes and sides of Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, collards, potato salad, and corn bread were all superb. It definitely tasted like eating at your grandmothers. The potato salad was just like my Gma’s; finely diced with celery, celery seed, and a slight tang of mustard accompanied by a slight sweetness. The collards are vegan hence no meat but were still delicious, tender, and flavorful. The drinks were delicious as well. The portion sizes were quite large with everyone having leftovers except for the lamb chops they were so delicious that my friend ate all of them. Matter of fact when she accidentally attempted to cut them with the wrong side of the knife it still went through. Couldn’t recommend more supporting this black owned business.”

“My wedding cake came out beautifully!! Everything i ever expected and more! I had 3 different layers with 3 different flavors, i had the chocolate cake with raspberry filling, the Jamaican rum with coconut filling and lastly the mango cake, the flavors were out this world, it was soo good and moist except for a little hiccup with the Jamaican rum but i called the bakery and they solved the problem the proper way. This is by far my favorite bakery and i will continue to come for every event i have.”

“Some of the best Ethiopian food I've had! The owner is so sweet and took such great care of us. Highly recommend the samosas, lamb, veggie combo with injera. Finish the meal off with traditional Ethiopian coffee you'll be so happy and satisfied. 10/10 would recommend. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in the DC/Silver Spring area!”

Ambiance is filled with families. only constructive criticism to offer is that the music is slightly louder than needed - as it is difficult to hear across the table and this seems to drive the background noise from other parties even higher.
