“Stopped in for some delicious sushi and chicken katsu, we also ordered the calamari which was fried perfectly and had a nice crispy outside.

The chicken katsu is cooked perfectly, crunchy outside and tasty inside but not dry. The sushi is amazing, I had the spicy tuna which had a good kick to it and the daily special which was the Goldfish Roll today. GOLDFISH ROLL WAS AMAZING!! Much less than I expected. Our server recommended the Daikon Fritters and those were very good and very filling as well. Overall I would come here again. definitely a nice intimate spot for a date.”

“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.”

“Wonderful first experience. Invited to attend "Seniors Don't Eat Alone" waiter Kevin was very attentive, knowledgeable and understanding of Seniors!!! Our second experience, was again great. We joined "DINE OUT MARYLAND" and saw Libs Fulton was on the registry. Four of us had reservations at 4:00 we asked to be seated at a 6 top and the hostess just smiled and seated the 4 of us. Then noticed that Kevin was once again our waiter. He took the drink orders perfectly. Unfortunately, my BEEF & BURRATA was tepid at best. Kevin nicely removed and had remade without issue. The MOD brought my diner back pipping hot and apologized with a smile. Prior to ordering, we had inquired if the Dine Out MD was accepted and provided our ID. Keven again handled. Next another personable young man brought back the bill and spoke with us. He was informing us of the upcoming expansion of the Libs restaurants. He stated he was going to be at the new location in Towson. Great experience. All three individuals showed great customer service. BTW - our food was delicious....”

“I had the pleasure of dining at The Hitching Post DC. I ordered the grilled lamb chops, mac & cheese, collard greens. The lamb chops are in my top 2 of the best I've ever tasted. I don't normally order mac & cheese when I go out to a restaurant, but this order was perfect as well. The collard greens could use a little vinegar, however, they were still delicious. I will definitely dine there in the near future. The lemon cake had was flavorful, moist and delicious, too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Charming smaller restaurant with friendly service, a very good wine list and delicious food. Once you find street parking, you can choose from several small tables on the street or comfortable seating inside this very attractive restaurant. There were three of us having dinner which consisted of Gnocchi, Chicken Milanese and an outstanding pork chop with caramel sauce. This restaurant really is a neighborhood gem. The noise level is high, but that is the only negative thing that I can think of to say.”

“I came here on a Sunday evening during Restaurant Week, but we wanted to try more dishes so we opted for a couple of them from the regular menu. My favorites were the mixed spread and dolma, as well as the sumac lemonade. Our server, Abdullah, was excellent! The whole dining experience was great from start to finish. “This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Washington DC. They only take cash and they don’t have ATM inside other than that. It’s been in business since 1963. The staff is great. The prices are reasonable and the food is wonderful.”
