I love their food.
Chicken Rico’s Rosedale is excellent for purchasing items for meal prep. They sell small and large trays of delicious Chaufa rice and paired with a number 1 family meal you have enough food for the week. The food is absolutely delicious!
The mild yellow and spicy green sauces are delicious especially on the Chaufa rice. The chicken is well seasoned and compliments the plantains and rice perfectly. Good portions.

Super Chicken Rico serves what many call the best roasted chicken in MARYLAND. The quarter chicken with Rice, steamed veggies and extra sauce is a popular, affordable meal at $12.50. The chicken is very juicy, flavor to the bone, and has a noticeable charcoal flavor that is not overpowering. The shrimp skewers are juicy, tender, and well seasoned, and the fried plantains are super delicious. The rice has great flavor, and the Dark meat combo is a great value. The yucca is fresh and crispy for some, though others found it tough and dry. The chicken can be a little dry, and the fries are a smidge bit bland. The place is very spacious with parking nearby. There is a bit of a language barrier, but the staff are very friendly. The serving sizes are generous, though sauce sizes are a little stingy. Overall, this is a filling, satisfying, and affordable option worth recommending.
