“One of the best sweet plantains I’ve had (Salvadoran style), and large portions for sides. The atmosphere is my favorite part. Very clean and homely with the walls littered in home plants and other bric-a-brac; like I’ve been invited over for dinner in their home. I would have given 5 stars if the chicken and yuca were a little less dry. With that said, I’ll be coming back!“

“Very rich meal and elegant atmosphere. For me, a glass of sweet red wine, a delicious plate of prawns and a steak note replace all my fatigue today“

“My husband and I both got the lamb chops, w/ Potatoes, Mac 'n' cheese, & plantain. The food was good, especially the lambchops. Not only did they smell good, but they were seasoned well ?. Will definitely be a returning customer.“

“It's located right across from Jones Hopkins, so while I was waiting after dropping my husband off, I searched on Google and found this place.I ordered and ate it in the car in the hospital parking lot.?The neighborhood didn't seem clean or safe, but the chicken was really delicious. It was very moist, and the side vegetables were also very delicious. And compared to similar chicken restaurants in my neighborhood, the portion size is huge. Although this place is 30 minutes away from my house, this is so delicious that I will be going back to here?“

“Clean restaurant. Nice digital displays. Menu easy to read.
Spent $46 for the full rotisserie chicken, rice, beans, yuca, string beans and plantains. It's actually one of the best deals around.
The food itself is excellent Peruvian style chicken. No complaints. Will definitely be back and the baby loved it. He ate like 4 ounce of chicken, which is alot for him.“

“We used to go to the Cockeysville location every other week before they closed, and this one is no different - large portions, great food, and ready quick!“

“Was looking for a link to review, but this is only giving the option to recommend or not. Oh well. I guess I’d recommend this place based on the fact that they serve chicken outside of the scope of Baltimore’s “chicken box and fry” combo. The food, however, was over cooked and the chicken was salted more than I’d expect. Foods that I’ve tasted at this location: 1/4 chicken (too salty and not juicy like the other reviews have claimed) Fried plantain (black and burnt...overcooked) Cilantro rice ( best item so far) Beef empanadas (cooked way too long...overcooked) I’ve experienced food from other Peruvian restaurants, and I cannot say that Primo Chicken is at the top of my list. Sardis still is a winner over top of Primo Chicken.“

“The whole chicken meal was more then enough to feed a family of 4. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and couldnt have been juicier. All of the sides were amazing. The service was excellent as well. We couldnt say more about this place. We will definitely be back.
Kid-friendliness: Our kiddos could not get enough of the brussels and carrots (they hate veggies) and the mac and cheese. The chicken was a slam dunk for them too.“

“The chicken I had was really good! You could taste the charcoal flavor, but it was not so much that it was overpowering. I liked the rice as well, it was great flavor. Fries were a smidge bit bland, desired more from those I will say. The Dark meat combo is a great value, along with their other offerings. The place itself seems well kept, outside of the occasional smoke that can come from the oven making the chicken. I would be open to going back and trying more of their offerings. I recommend this place.“

“This was authentic African food. Our order was made fresh and served with a smile. this location is unique in that they stay open late at night they're more of a late night carry out which is great for those individuals who can't find a place to eat and they want something different. GREAT FOOD“

“Not a place i would have ever thought of going to, but i went here because my girlfriend wanted to. Well, it was hands down the best chicken sub i ever ate. Juicy, fresh, and flavorful!. The roll was absolutely delicious too as it was soft and grilled to perfection. The fries were thick cut 'steak' fries and they were cooked exceptionally good, being slightly crispy on the outside. Service was on par for a take out, and we didnt wait long for the sub to be made. For $11, you get a solid $15 worth of quality food. I highly recommend you try it, considering id usually order a steak sub and not chicken.“

“The reviews do honor to the place, it is not a typical restaurant but it completes its function when it comes to ordering what you like. It is seen that more people come to take away than eating in the place although it is very spacious and has good ambient music, the Bathrooms need a little more attention but they are acceptable and clean unlike other places where you don't even feel like using them.
The flavor and seasoning to our personal taste is 8/10, the attention and service of the very friendly employees, it also has ample parking.“
