When my partner and I lived in Baltimore we used to take our friends here as a special treat. We recently came back to visit and stopped there- it didn't disappoint. The coconut stuff French toast is a must for table-sharing. Chicken and waffles (with the seasoned waffles) is also a hit. Be prepared to potentially wait a bit since it's a very popular spot and you can't do reservations ?
My wife and I ate at Miss Shirley’s last week. I had the chicken and waffles; wife had biscuit and gravy. The food was incredible! And the service was outstanding - we felt very taken care of by Vasyl, our server. He was patient and smiling throughout a very busy brunch time. Kudos to everyone at Miss Shirley’s.
