I think I died and went to heaven lol. I was at a neighborhood outdoor festival and ordered from their food truck there. I expected it to be half the amount of food I received and delightfully surprised at the amount of food I got for $11! I can see why they have 100% positive ratings. Quality and quantity at the same time is rare! I ate the tofu nuggets with the peanut sauce and my pallet hasn’t experienced that type of satisfaction in decades lol! 🤩😋 Delicious!!!
You pay so much for the food and it is delicious but they do not listen to the corrections you make on the order and when you mention it the staff gives you an attitude about it
Food has always been delicious however…
…the last beef bao sandwich was disappointing because I had to search for the meat through the vegetation. Flavors are always on point but when the protein is missing….
This is always my concern when an establishment grows too large, the quality starts to wane.

Ekiben, a neighborhood gem, is known for its incredible fried chicken that is crunchy, juicy, and flavorful. The spicy mayo that accompanies the chicken is unreal, adding to the dish's appeal. The tofu is also a must-try, featuring a crunchy texture and sweet sauce. The staff is extremely friendly, providing a welcoming environment that enhances the dining experience. Despite limited seating, the restaurant remains popular due to its top-notch food quality. Options include sandwiches on pillowy bao buns or boxes with rice and pickled vegetables. The humor and skill of the chefs shine through in every dish. The neighborhood bowl is a customer favorite, with flavors that can make one's edges fly through the ceiling. Portions are very large and satisfying, even for those who prefer dark meat. While the done-in experience may not be the most comfortable due to the seating situation, the great music soundtrack and fast service make Ekiben a worthwhile visit. Clean facilities and a consistent focus on quality and service keep customers coming back for more, making it a must-try spot in Baltimore.
