Clavel Reviews
We are there for the first time last night and I can say the food was absolutely amazing and the service was phenomenal. It’s a busy restaurant for obvious reasons, but the staff made the experience a great one. The owner Carlos was super nice and stopped by to say hello to us as we have a mutual friend. I would highly recommend checking this out!!
Such amazing food and staff. Great experience…wouldn’t have my team anywhere else.
Mezcal is full of smoke. I ordered a review package, 3 cups total $35, very heavy grass ➕ the smell of wet soil
The taco of this store is made of freshly made of ground corn flour. The taste is quite different from the ready-made crust. I ordered three, and I will try other flavors next time.

Clavel offers an exceptional dining experience, with excellent food and cocktails, including standout dishes like ceviche, queso, fundido, and vegetarian tacos. The margaritas are hailed as among Baltimore's finest, and the happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays provides discounted rates on drinks and appetizers. The atmosphere is nice and fantastic, although the menu's letters can be a bit too light to read in the dim environment. The restaurant can be boisterous and has long wait times, especially on weekends, with 45-60 minutes wait on Friday nights. Despite this, the food is phenomenal, and the drinks, like Santa Sandia and limonada agua fresca, are delectable. Dishes such as El Luchador, Barbacoa de borreago, and Mahi are highly recommended. Clavel's commitment to culinary excellence, phenomenal service, and delicious desserts like tres leches cake make it a must-visit destination in Baltimore.
