Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Baltimore

“I have been eating from this location now for about a month. The food is pretty good I will say. They were giving away a free crispy chicken sandwich and I ordered their chicken nuggets and red beans and rice. The chicken sandwich was very good and what I enjoyed most about it is it wasn't loaded with sodium. Having them in the neighborhood so close by is a great benefit whether you order online or decide to go in person. The drivers have been pretty nice and I have not experienced any issues with them. Hopefully they will continue to improve one what they offer to their customers. I do recommend this specific location although I have not been inside yet.“

“Popeye's, in comparison to national Chicken Chains such as Kentucky Fried Chicken or Chick-Fil-A is seen as the more pricier, and hit or miss option for national fast food chicken. Among the three chains, it is also the latest to form onto the scene of the three. The first location was opened by Al Copeland in 1972 in New Orleans, Louisiana, giving it a distinct taste and history compared to its competitors.

I had been to Popeye's once before this experience, I was out of town and was looking to shop at a place for lunch in the Baltimore area before jaunting down to DC, and I came to this location in search of food. Despite the location in the White Marsh Mall's food court, I was able to order with no problem. The Chicken Sandwich with Bacon and Cheese combo and Strawberry-Cream Cheese Pie were both piping hot and tasted great despite the setting and the long lines for a Saturday Afternoon, coupled with the lack of seating.

The one problem I had with this location was with the convenience, rather than assisting you with your specific order number in the loud space, you are requested to remain standing in the line before your said order could be completed, if more seating was available, this problem would be alleviated.

Overall, in terms of the specifics of this Popeye's, the location in a mall food court is great, but there are some problems that could be worked out further.“

“I love Popeyes, and this location keeps up my expectations for great chicken. I just moved here from Utah, so this was my first time being in a Popeyes older than just a few years. It was nice to feel like I was in an established spot for locals instead of the usual carbon copy versions I've been to in the West. I docked one star in the atmosphere category only because it seems the place could use a little paint or something to freshen it up a little; a remodel would be a mistake though.“

“The staff was very nice and customer friendly and attentive . And although there was a lot going on that day in the store they handled each situation very professionally and with all of the customers in the store in mind I felt . Very great job .“

“I visited the Popeyes about 2 mos ago , and I visited them on 9/28/23about 1 pm. I must say that at both visits via drive thru,the staff was very good,& the male who was in view with the employee at the pick up window . Yes they were of Hispanic nationality. I must say that they showed much respect through our the visit. In telling the truth , going through other fast food chains ( not all) , the African American employees ( 80% )are rude and angry ?. ..and Yes I am a African American.. I'm speaking on the quality of service.. and the race doesn't matter, when telling the TRUTH, after all We are ALL Human Beings.“

“When I came in the place was nicely clean and tidy, then I went to order and the person who took my order was very nice and calm and even offered me if I wanted to try any of their desserts at the end, I really appreciate that they asked me, I also like that I didn’t wait too long for my food, and was able to dine in the restaurant because I really liked the atmosphere, great experience!!!“

“Finally I have received the proper sized thighs! This is good news. For years it was tiny. That isn't an exaggeration. But not as of yesterday's meal it was the size in accustomed to from Popeyes. Plus for the first time my biscuit is FRESH! Excellent soft delicious biscuits! Good going on this Management. Keep up the great work.“

“This place is very nice. The workers are polite and work effectively, they got my order out quickly and the food was freshly prepared! The inside was clean and organized as well. It is better than most popeyes in the city. Would definitely return!“

“They were screwing up alot of my orders and always sold out of mac and cheese. But now, they seem to be working on things. It has been much much better recently. Last night the manager made a small batch of mac available for me. Before closing.“

“This place is great. I came by and got some good chicken at 8:30 on Sunday night. Waited 2 or 3 minutes at the drive thru and got back to watch some Sunday night football. Order was right, chicken was juicy, hot and spicy. Good biscuits too. Nice job Popeyes.“

“They have a habit of forgetting things you requests like different dips like for barbecue sauce or something like that ketchup and napkins and spoons. I usually use the one on Belair Road more often times than not. At one time the service was so bad that I start having to use the one on Joppa Road. That's a lot further away but they did a better job of completing my order correctly.“

“Chicken was hot and delicious and biscuits were good. However, I didn't check my order (was in drive through) and was mad at myself; the large side of mac-n-cheese never made it to my bag. I live too far, so didn't call to complain. Otherwise, its a great location.“

“The food was hot and fresh. We got the family tenderloins. But they were out of cold slaw. Wasn't a fan of the rice and beans.

The place is clean and bright.

The bathroom was locked to customers, so you would have to tell the counter before you would be able to get into it.“
