“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“I got the vegan jerk chicken, yams and kale (greens) and I am so obsessed. The chicken is a wonderful texture including the breading which was perfectly crispy. The greens are addictive and I wish I had 10 more portions. The yams are good, a bit too sweet for me but not an issue at all. I will definitely be ordering from here a bunch more! “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience I went to Rye Street Tavern tonight for an early birthday dinner with friends and I honestly had such a great time. It felt nice doing something out of the norm on a Monday. The place is beautiful inside and I cannot wait to come back when the weather breaks so I can enjoy the outdoor vibes. The food was delicious overall, but there were two items I did not love. I am the type of customer who will just take it home and make it work. My friends kept encouraging me to send it back if I did not like it and even the waitress gently suggested the same. I kept saying no because I never complain at restaurants, but they talked me into it in the nicest way. The manager came over and was so kind and accommodating. He introduced himself, asked what was wrong, and even then I still kept saying nothing was wrong. I loved how hands-on he was as a manager, clearing plates and helping his team. It stood out to me. They ended up making me something a little custom and it was perfect. I wish I remembered my waitress’s name because she was great and truly delightful. From the atmosphere to the service, everything was wonderful. I highly recommend Rye Street Tavern and I am already looking forward to going back. It is a 10 out of 10 for me.“

“I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ampersea! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“

“Silver Queen Cafe continues to be a local gem. After our original dinner plans fell through this past Saturday, we were able to snag a last-minute 7:45 PM reservation, and it turned out to be a fantastic evening.
​We’ve visited before and always appreciate the cozy atmosphere and their commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Even though they were sold out of a few popular items we had our hearts set on—the fried oyster tacos and the black bean burgers—the experience was still top-notch. Our server, Jamie, was incredibly helpful in guiding us toward new choices, and we ended up thoroughly enjoying the mushroom blue pizza and the seafood nachos.
​What really stood out was the level of service. Not only was Jamie attentive, but the bartender also made a point to come by our table to check on us, which was a great personal touch. It’s clear the staff here genuinely cares about the guest experience.
​Silver Queen Cafe is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot that deserves to be celebrated. We’re lucky to have them in the area and will definitely be back soon!“

“We were on the last day of our visit from out of state and wanted something good to eat with little to no wait before heading home. Spoons was the perfect place. I almost turned around because the host seemed a little cold but I didn’t. She turned out to be kind, not friendly and I’m ok with that. She wasn’t making my food and some ppl just don’t have warm personalities. She offered me something to drink while I waited for my family to come in and was helpful. The food was really good and I’m glad we ate there. The food was fresh, delicious, and cooked well. My two youngest sons split one of the meals (no kids menu) and they split up the food on plates from the kitchen (so appreciated as a mom so the kids don’t fight over who got what). My sons had pancakes and honestly, they were some of the best pancakes I’ve ever tasted that I wish I would’ve ordered some. I had the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit and a side of grits, delicious!!! 100% recommend.“

“I just wanted to say what an awesome experience Barracudas and Billy provided for my family. We held a surprise 90th birthday party for my Mom there on Saturday and it was perfect. The food was delicious as usual and the service was phenomenal. Abby did a great job taking care of us. Big shout out to the kitchen staff and everyone else who assisted in making my Mom feel loved and appreciated. I live 2 hours from the restaurant, but I make it a point to stop in almost everytime for food and drinks. Everyone has their own opinion concerning the restaurant and staff. In 10 years I have never had a bad experience here or seen anything out of the ordinary reacting to the staff or ownership. I have seen intoxicated patrons but that's it. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal or a drink. You won't be disappointed.“

I dont think Sakura gets the street cred in Annapolis that it deserves- Its a cozy spot with great food and great views of downtown! Now I can't wait for our leftovers tomorrow!“

“I’ll be honest, I was both excited and skeptical about trying Wonder when it first opened. The whole concept seemed a little strange to me, and I wasn’t sure how it would actually work. Since they were offering 50% off for first time customers when I went, I figured it was worth a try.

We ordered a pizza from Alanza, a double cheeseburger from Burger Baby, and a Build Your Own Bowl from El Diez. Funny enough, the burger, which was the item I was least excited about based on how it looked, ended up being my favorite. It was honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had in a long time. The pizza was a little overdone, but I actually like my pizza that way, so no complaints there. The bowl was good too, though I felt like it was missing a little something. Maybe some extra lime or cilantro would have given it more of that fresh Mexican flavor.

I’d definitely come back and try some of the other restaurants they have. I also really liked the atmosphere. It was quiet, clean, and didn’t feel chaotic, which was nice. The kitchen area looked especially clean, which always leaves a good impression.

If you’ve been curious about Wonder and are looking to try something different, I’d say it’s worth checking out, especially while they’re offering 50% off for new customers. There’s a huge variety of food options, so it’s easy for everyone in your group to find something they’ll enjoy. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and left more impressed than I expected to be.“

“We went here for lunch and it was very quiet, with only a few other guests. Since this restaurant is in a hotel lobby, they probably have more guests at breakfast time. Alicia was a very friendly and attentive server and the food was excellent. We enjoyed the crab cake sliders and fish tacos. A perfect size for lunch!“
