“I very rarely post reviews, but I have to share how wonderful our dinner was at Alexander’s Tavern tonight. We are on our way home from vacation and had driven eight hours today. While at our table, our four year old overtired, overstimulated, neurodivergent son had a meltdown. Rather than make us feel any worse than we already did for disrupting other people’s’ meals, our waitress (Mel) brought him a toy to play with, which calmed him instantly. She then followed it with a drink for me, which was such a beautiful and welcomed act of kindness. On top of the way they cared for our family, the food was delicious!
Kid-friendliness: After a long day, we were made to feel so welcomed and comfortable with our two little ones and double stroller despite the smaller size of the restaurant. Kids menu had lots of options and both our children (one of whom is extremely picky!) enjoyed their meals.“

“My boyfriend and I came on a Saturday evening at 7 pm without a reservation, and found seats at the bar. The prices are high, but remember to factor in the wonderful view as part of the overall tab. The two of us ordered 2 cocktails, a glass of wine, and beer- the standout of which was the Sazerac; and as for food we got one starter (the octopus), entree (duck breast), and dessert (chocolate tart), all of which were amazing.
We will definitely be back!“

“We went during Baltimore Restaurant week. It was our first time there but not the last. The food was so good. Our server, Dominique, was very professional and provided recommendations which were on point. We got to meet Chef Amy, which was a nice surprise.“

“Food was good (breakfast) but was a bit pricey for what it is cinsidering eggs and pancakes are pretty cheap items to begin with.
I highly dislike the auto gratuity (18%). To me, 18% is for good/great service, I would much rather see an auto gratuity start at 10% with the option to increase. After all a tip is for the customer to decide. The service here although not bad, was nothing great either, very average.“
“I usually try to stop here when passing through BWI, because the cocktails are among some of the best I've had. My most recent visit was no exception as far as my drink (the Baltimore Cosmo) was concerned, but it was especially nice because the bartender, Khadijah, was very friendly and a good conversationalist. She helped the wait for my flight pass quickly!“

“Your restaurant came highly recommended so we scheduled brunch for a friend's birthday, and you did not disappoint! Definitely 5-star service from the door...Ty greeted us with a warm, welcoming smile and led us to our table. She introduced us to our waiter, also Ty, and he was equally as great! The food was chef's kiss? Thank you for a great experience. Many blessings on your business.“

“Came here for Valentine's Day and I had an absolutely marvelous time. The whole staff was extremely professional, kind, and well versed in the dining etiquette rule book!
The meals ordered were cooked to perfection with every sign of Chef Wolf's talent being illustrated in each and every dish. Will definitely come by again for a special event in the near future! :)
PS: The bison? OMG SOOOOO GOOOOD!“

“The food is amazing and the people who work here are PHENOMENAL! We had brought a foster puppy when sitting outside and without hesitation, they brought him a water bowl. Multiple staff members came and said hi to him, as well. Oh, and our server went above and beyond to accommodate our vegan friend. I’ll definitely be back!!!!“

“I love this restaurant. It is one of our go-to places, without a doubt. The food and ambience are just a real treat. Four of us shared the Brussels sprout appetizer along with a charcuterie platter, then I had the duck bolognese-delish. If our server, who was very congenial, hadn't left us for long periods between courses and when we needed the check, it would have been perfect.“

“We live in the neighborhood, so we go here often. That said. We are moving out of the country so we had to go there one last time. Can't miss dishes are: pretty much anything on special, the chicken pot pie, the Peruvian chicken, anything with the short ribs and the Greek dishes. They make a mean dirty martini and the Future Ball cocktail. Make this your place. The people are wonderful and kind.“

“Every weekend I'm free I drive the 30 minutes for the best brunch! The owners and their team are delightful, and make each visit so much fun. The cauliflower wings (vegetarian) are outstanding (pro tip to mix it up - they also go great with the crab dip. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu - but you must order at some point the cinnamon roll. You're welcome in advance.“

“Maybe the best meal I've had all year! Happened to be restaurant week. Starter salad was huge and the blueberries great. The rockfish imperial is about as "Baltimore" as you can get! Amazing. The upside-down warm peach cake took it over the top! Try this meal regardless of restaurant week or not. Maddy the waitress also excellent.“

“Really cozy 50s style diner. I was hoping for a T bone steak, but they oddly enough didn't offer any. I settled on the calf liver & enjoyed it. The mashed potatoes were & steamed vegetables were a bit bland.
The passion fruit mimosa was a bit too tart & sour for my liking. However that's likely my own fault for ordering a sour drink.
Jinesh was my server & attentive despite the busy restaurant.“

“During a recent trip to Baltimore, I had the opportunity to dine here with a friend and it was a wonderful experience.
The food is fantastic and the cocktail I got from the bar was made perfectly. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was just lovely.
When my friend and I chose this restaurant we knew absolutely nothing about it. We were looking for a restaurant that was close to where my parents live and the description of the type of restaurant it was and the type of food they serve appealed to us. It was only afterward when I told my mother where we had eaten that I found out this is considered one of the best restaurants in the area.
I will be honest that my friend and I were not expecting the prices but that's on us for not taking pricing into account in our Google search but let me just say that the meal and our experience were worth every penny.
If you're looking for a fine dining experience in the area this should be at the top of your list.“

“I stopped in on a Saturday evening, after reading that the burger here is good, and I will be back.
I sat at the bar, and the woman tending that evening was a consummate pro. Confidence and assurance emanated from her, and she set the tone for a great meal and a good time.
I watched some amazing rugby (Paris Olympics) on the TV, and that "good" burger was great. And the salad that confident bartender recommended was even better than she implied when describing it to me.
I had a glass of a cider that was on tap that evening, and the sweet-tart of the brew was just what the beef fat and cheese called for.
So, if you want a great burger at a bar run by the coolest bartender I have met in years, I recommend Patterson Public House.
I know nothing about the dining room in the back, and I didn't try anything else. I will be trying other options in the future, but that burger will likely call to me again in the next month or so.“

“Been here several times over the years. The food is great and locally-sourced. You can get breakfast all day and there are several gluten free options for those who may need/want it. Pricing is average. We paid about $70 including tip for four of us. Service is typically efficient in order to get people in and out in time to catch flights.“

I dont think Sakura gets the street cred in Annapolis that it deserves- Its a cozy spot with great food and great views of downtown! Now I can't wait for our leftovers tomorrow!“

“God is good. God is kind. God bless the hands that created this delicious find. Lawdddd have mercy! I had the grilled shrimp and salmon on a spinach wrap and mayne, did it have me doing a lil dance as I ate. You know the dance where it taste so good you can't help but move your body to the "it taste so good" beat.Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. My meal would have been even more perfect with a side of potato salad or mac salad. Maybe even a lil piece of cake. But man oh man..I will definitely be eating here again.“

“Let’s get one this straight! This is the SPOT! The experience began with me running behind for my reservation because I-95 traffic is a..well we all know..so in calling the restaurant to alert them my first taste of Marta was Nick, who answered the phone in such a warm and friendly manner I felt welcomed even before my arrival! Now I will say parking is a challenge..but rise up to this challenge..be persistent..because once you’re safely parked you will reap amazing culinary rewards. The space itself..it beautifully done..muted colors and comfortable seating seem to say “ sit..get comfortable and get ready for a great time” Our server Michael was a JOY. Just as important as the food, is the service, Michael made sure that we were comfortable, answering all questions and providing excellent recommendations when they were asked for. No one could have asked for a better tour guide to lead our Marta experience..when making reservations..request him..I promise you won’t be disappointed. Appetizers! Tuna Cannoli..if you think you know tuna..I’m here to say NAW! This dish was whimsical and full of flavor. The tuna was fresh and prefect encased in a light cannoli shell..the sesame seeds tied the whole dish together for me perfectly. Beef tartare(my personal favorite) vibrant color and palate pleasing flavors! I like the addition of beets in place of the traditional capers. Even my one friend who hates beets agrees that it brought a great element to this dish. Oysters! Perfectly briny and chilled expertly the pink peppercorn granita was Everything! Entrees: I enjoyed the Agnolotti which was a fall themed plate of warm comfort food! The spiced squash and apple stuffed pasta was so flavorful..but just when you thought it couldn’t get better, BOOM! Brown butter sage sauce! Please do yourself a favor..make your reservation to enjoy this dish before it goes away..you won’t regret it. The risotto my friend enjoyed with the meatballs from the antipasti menu was creamy and honestly had me making my next reservation in my head so I could enjoy it all by myself! Saffron Brodo, Aged Parmesan, bring this dish home! He couldn’t stop raving about the meatballs and I know they must have been great because he didn’t share..lol My dear friend ordered the Panzotti featuring stuffed Duck and Foie Gras! All components of this dish worked together to create perfection! Wine list..well thought out and composed. When our initial choice was temporarily unavailable, cue Nick with a perfect recommendation for an alternative bottle! Desserts..we ordered them all..don’t judge..lol..we couldn’t decided..lol..and you only live once! In addition to ordering them all..you bet the 3 of us finished them all too! So no further details required..I just suggest you make sure to save room for at least one of these sweet temptations..really any one..you won’t regret it! So this concludes my most epic review..of a most epic experience! Thank you Marta..it was truly wonderful!“
