The solo dining experience was not the same as a couple or group. As a solo diner, I was not offered the bread service and my waiter forgot some of my order.

Gertrude's is a special restaurant known for its lovely setting and efficient service. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including their signature Eggs Gertrude and the soft shell crab sandwich. Despite this, the staff is commended for their excellent and attentive service, striving to make each visit a pleasant experience without rushing diners. Out-of-town guests are always pleasantly surprised by the ambience, the food, and the quality of the waitstaff.
