“Best food in Towson hands down! I drive Uber in the area and this is where I stop almost 2-4 times a week for the chicken cheesesteak. Tried a few other things on the menu and everything was great, but the chicken cheesesteak is just too good!! Great owners also, I don't even like a customer when I go, I feel like family.“

I stopped in today for a late lunch and early dinner. The new setup threw me off at first since I'm used to ordering at the counter and then finding my own seat. It wasn't a big deal, I just wasn't expecting the change!

Before long, I spotted a familiar face. Yamil has been here since the grand opening, or at least it feels that way! His customer service is always efficient, friendly, genuine, and welcoming.

He recommended the skirt steak, and it was a great recommendation. It seems the recipe has returned to what it was before COVID, which was a pleasant surprise. My meal arrived hot and absolutely delicious.

As always, it's a pleasure dining here. I prefer this location over the Columbia, MD location any day of the week! I'll definitely be back and hope to see more familiar faces.

“My family and I have been going here for years and have always been happy with the food. Most of the time we get sushi but on occasion I will get the tempura. As far as the sushi goes they are pretty creative with their rolls. I particularly like the variety of cooked rolls that they have - absolutely delicious.“

“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ampersea! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“

“Very delicious and super accommodating of Celiac/gluten free! They have gluten free toast I subbed for with the eggs benedict. The breakfast potatoes are also gluten free and they offered to cook mine in a separate pan. No gluten free pancakes or biscuits but other than that many things can be made GF. Staff was super kind!

Smaller restaurant so there was a wait but you can get on the list and they’ll text when your table is ready. I must say their coffee wasn’t great.“

“Topside offers a fantastic rooftop setting with stunning city views. The food was excellent overall; the chicken and waffles were a standout, offering a wonderful balance of flavors. My husband enjoyed his quiche, though he felt the crustless vegetable dish could have been cooked a little longer. Despite that minor note, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I also brought home a bacon jalapeño scone, which made for a delightful afternoon treat. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great dining experience.“

It felt nice doing something out of the norm on a Monday. The place is beautiful inside and I cannot wait to come back when the weather breaks so I can enjoy the outdoor vibes. The food was delicious overall, but there were two items I did not love. I am the type of customer who will just take it home and make it work. My friends kept encouraging me to send it back if I did not like it and even the waitress gently suggested the same. I kept saying no because I never complain at restaurants, but they talked me into it in the nicest way. The manager came over and was so kind and accommodating. He introduced himself, asked what was wrong, and even then I still kept saying nothing was wrong. I loved how hands-on he was as a manager, clearing plates and helping his team. It stood out to me. They ended up making me something a little custom and it was perfect. I wish I remembered my waitress’s name because she was great and truly delightful. From the atmosphere to the service, everything was wonderful. I highly recommend Rye Street Tavern and I am already looking forward to going back. It is a 10 out of 10 for me.“

“I just wanted to say what an awesome experience Barracudas and Billy provided for my family. We held a surprise 90th birthday party for my Mom there on Saturday and it was perfect. The food was delicious as usual and the service was phenomenal. Abby did a great job taking care of us. Big shout out to the kitchen staff and everyone else who assisted in making my Mom feel loved and appreciated. I live 2 hours from the restaurant, but I make it a point to stop in almost everytime for food and drinks. Everyone has their own opinion concerning the restaurant and staff. In 10 years I have never had a bad experience here or seen anything out of the ordinary reacting to the staff or ownership. I have seen intoxicated patrons but that's it. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal or a drink. You won't be disappointed.“

“This hidden gem is one of my go to spots. The owner is friendly and helpful along with his son. The Falafel Wrap is one of my favorites and I always get it with everything including the hots. They even have a homemade sauce called “mambo sauce” and it’s delicious! I always put old bay and the mambo sauce on my potato wedges. Food is always prepared quickly and I have NOT been disappointed! I highly recommend!“
