“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! And for two people with drinks it was really pretty a good deal for the quality if the food, service and location. We will be back! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5“

“My husband and I stopped by for a drink, and ordered the cream of crab soup, gf fried shrimp, and the honey maple brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious! Special thanks to the bartender, Lee, who was very attentive!“

“So sat at the bar with my son. Enjoyed a few beers they had an early bird bar menu. Got the sliders they were the best I’ve ever had! Cooked medium perfectly fresh rolls. Crab pizza was excellent! Also, had the truffle fries. Everything was fantastic! My son and I talked about it all week couldn’t wait to come back the following week. So, following week we go back get the French onion soup it was so so I’d give it a 6 Out of 10. Ordered the sliders they came out well done the rolls were stale so they tried to heat them up that didn’t make them fresh now stale and burnt. Now the week before they didn’t try to toast the bun because they weren’t stale so they didn’t need to mask the bun! This was a tell tail they knew the buns were trash! So 1st visit was a solid 5! 2nd visit was barely a three. We will try them one more time I hope they get it right this time“

“I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Ampersea! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Joey was absolutely fantastic - setting us up at a table with an amazing view and checking on us multiple times during our visit. He offered to take our coats after we were seated and then offered to take pictures of us when we were on our way out. Ampersea has definitely been the most positive experience we have had during our trip. I can honestly say that Joey is the sole reason we cannot wait to come back to enjoy a meal and a drink (or 2, or 3 haha) once the weather is nicer! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!“

The food was delicious as usual and the service was phenomenal. Abby did a great job taking care of us. I live 2 hours from the restaurant, but I make it a point to stop in almost everytime for food and drinks. Everyone has their own opinion concerning the restaurant and staff. In 10 years I have never had a bad experience here or seen anything out of the ordinary reacting to the staff or ownership. I have seen intoxicated patrons but that's it. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a meal or a drink. You won't be disappointed.“

“Wow, delicious Chinese food!

It was ready quickly and they gave us everything we needed including plastic silverware, napkins, soy sauce and sweet and sour. We just moved here so this was so helpful.

All the food was delicious, we got kung pao chicken and general tso chicken with shrimp and vegetable egg rolls. The kung pao chicken was my favorite!

We will definitely be back. Overall, it was a quick, easy, and wonderful dinner experience!“

“I stop by once in a blue moon- most recently on the Saturday before Christmas while finishing up my shopping. I overheard a staff member telling another customer the wild salmon Niçoise was her favorite so I decided to order it. It was delicious, packed with flavor and very filling. I would absolutely order it again.

This location’s interior would benefit from an interior upgrade or even just a refresh. Of course the space is still functional, but it has a 90s/early 2000s feel to it and it would be nice to see how it would feel with some new touches. New tables and better lighting can really go a long way.“

“The environment here was so welcoming. Had a blast here with my buddies sand meeting all of the locals and hearing their stories. The bar tender was a sweetheart and took good care of everyone that I was with. She kept the drinks coming and provided some good finger food when we asked her last min.“

“Our friends invited us to join them for breakfast at their favorite diner. What a nice treat it was for us. We met their favorite waitress as well, Sabrina. The diner was really like stepping back in time in a really nice way – great ambience, great service, great coffee, and great food. Everything you want a cozy diner to be. Unfortunately, we were having such a good time, we forgot to take pictures of our food. My husband and I split an order of Creamed Chipped Beef over the home fries with an English muffin on the side. It was very good and filling. Our friends had a large Waffle, a Cheese Omelet, and a side of applesauce. We all were members of the clean plate club. Sabrina took excellent care of us. We look forward to returning soon.“
