Topside Reviews
Food and service were both amazing at Topside. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. We were even brought a champagne toast on the house, and a non-alcoholic one for my wife (she had ordered an N/A drink earlier), which was a great gesture. I will definitely be back. The Sticky Toffee Pudding dessert special was a real highlight.
Gorgeous view of Baltimore from the 14th floor of the Hotel Revival. Prompt and friendly service with really good food. Excellent value. The restaurant was moderately loud and it was not full. Retro tile on floor, glass windows and open space needs some sound baffling device(s). Any more diners would make conversation difficult.
Date night at Topside was a hit and topped off a romantic stay at Hotel Revival. Wonderful window seating with direct view of Mt. Vernon Square was a plus. Laid back and swanky at the same time. Loved the G6 cocktail, which was a teeny bit pricey, although probably comparable for the city. The gluten free options were delicious. I had the Octopus and the Lamb, followed by the salated caramel panna cotta. Wonderful ambiance and meal start to finish.

Topside offers a memorable experience with fresh seafood and delicious cocktails like the La Boca and Strawberry Lemon Drop. The views are breathtaking, especially at sunset, making it a perfect spot for a date or special celebration. The atmosphere is modern and elevated, with a chic vibe that transports guests to another city. The food is very tasty, featuring items like the cheese board and charcuterie board, though some may find it a bit pricey. Recent reviews highlight dishes such as the soft shell crab sandwich, fish and chips, steak tacos, and the short rib, which is tender, juicy, and flavorful. The lion's mane mushroom dish is especially praised as the best among the shared plates. Staff are friendly, professional, and attentive, including a kind waitress and accommodating manager. Despite occasional shortages of staff, service remains great, and guests appreciate the friendly environment. The view overlooking Mount Vernon is stunning, and window tables provide a wonderful vantage point to enjoy landmarks in the distance. Parking is plentiful nearby, making access easy. The restaurant also excels in providing fantastic service and a great vibe, with many guests noting the excellent view and tasty food. Recent visitors recommend the smoked salmon avocado toast for brunch and mention that the menu options are great. Overall, the atmosphere is handsome and comfy, making Topside a delightful place to revisit, even on a rainy day.
