“I came for the food and got an entire experience. I had the curry chicken, jerk chicken AND the oxtails, everything was seasoned right and full of flavor. Definitely some real soul food.

But what really made the place stand out is there’s more to it than food. They have karate classes in the basement, plus books, essential oils, herbs and other products in the shop.

Food. Culture. Knowledge. Wellness. Martial arts. All under one roof. ✊🏾

This is the type of Black-owned business I love coming across and supporting. I just left and already know I’ll be back.

“Shane is truly a superstar! I thoroughly enjoyed both my meal and the ambiance of this establishment. My food arrived quickly, was delicious, and beautifully presented. Shane took note of our orders and even provided us with punch cards, encouraging us to return for another delightful dinner experience.

I was welcomed warmly, and my entire table appreciated the attentive support from all the servers and staff present. This was my first visit to this location, and it left a fantastic first impression. I intend to return as often as possible because the service was outstanding! I am particularly grateful to Shane for making this experience enjoyable, as well as to the chef who prepared the wonderful meal!“

I stopped in today for a late lunch and early dinner. The new setup threw me off at first since I'm used to ordering at the counter and then finding my own seat. It wasn't a big deal, I just wasn't expecting the change!

Before long, I spotted a familiar face. Yamil has been here since the grand opening, or at least it feels that way! His customer service is always efficient, friendly, genuine, and welcoming.

He recommended the skirt steak, and it was a great recommendation. It seems the recipe has returned to what it was before COVID, which was a pleasant surprise. My meal arrived hot and absolutely delicious.

As always, it's a pleasure dining here. I prefer this location over the Columbia, MD location any day of the week! I'll definitely be back and hope to see more familiar faces.

“Location is a bit secluded, but this place is definitely a goldmine. The inventory is so large, you'll definitely be able to find WHATEVER you're looking for and more here. I personally came in for wine coolerd and left with two bottles of wine that I tried from a sampler (Espanola).“
