“I was on the way to lunch and saw a coworker of mine's walking to Terry's cafe. At the time I didn't know he was going to Terry's cafe, I picked him up he took me there and I ordered my food. They were so friendly the food delicious and the owners were very courteous and professional and even gave me 3 chocolate chip cookies free. “Silver Queen Cafe continues to be a local gem. After our original dinner plans fell through this past Saturday, we were able to snag a last-minute 7:45 PM reservation, and it turned out to be a fantastic evening.
​We’ve visited before and always appreciate the cozy atmosphere and their commitment to fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Even though they were sold out of a few popular items we had our hearts set on—the fried oyster tacos and the black bean burgers—the experience was still top-notch. Our server, Jamie, was incredibly helpful in guiding us toward new choices, and we ended up thoroughly enjoying the mushroom blue pizza and the seafood nachos.
​What really stood out was the level of service. Not only was Jamie attentive, but the bartender also made a point to come by our table to check on us, which was a great personal touch. It’s clear the staff here genuinely cares about the guest experience.

“We went to dinner here this evening with a large party of 10. While we enjoyed our food and our server was great our overall experience was not 🤦🏼‍♀️. I don’t know if we just had an evening of bad luck or what. First after sitting there a bit a VERY large picture fell off of the wall directly onto me and my 18 month old daughter, then there was a gnat in our drink, and my dad walked outside and a piece of shingle fell off and hit him in the head. Like, I seriously couldn’t make this up. 🤣 like I said food was good and so was our waiter but I feel like a little more could have been done after the picture situation. A cupcake and free drink didn’t really cut it. Had it just fallen on me I wouldn’t have been so upset but the fact that it fell on my daughter made my soul leave my body. We will give it another shot at some point and chock tonight up to the full moon or something just be careful where you sit your kiddos.“

“August 24. Five of us came to enjoy lunch together. Very disappointed. My ultimate grilled cheese was not ‘ultimate’. Very little cheese, no tomato, and crab cake/meat was sub par. Another lady received the wrong lunch and then had to send back her lunch when the correct order was brought. Another lady had to send back her hot fudge sundae. We were told the hot fudge was made last week! It would have been nice if a manager had come to our table. Have been coming to Manor Tavern for decades and have never been so disappointed. Am coming again in September. Hope things are a bit better!“

“This was my husband and I's first time at McFauls. We came for a late lunch and chose to eat at the outside bar. The menu, food and prices were all amazing! Our bartender, Jake was very personable and friendly and gave perfect service!!! Delicious drinks! Everything was above and beyond. There were so many delicious choices on the menu, we can't wait to come back to try more! We had the buffalo chicken wonton special, the Italian stallion sub special and I got the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos all 10/10.“

“My daughter frequent Atwater's often simply because we live in the neighborhood. My visit today was disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Yellow Split Pea Soup. The first time I ordered that same sandwich it was made with more apples, what happened. There should be consistency in making the same sandwich in spite of the fact a different person makes them.“

The food was delicious, our waitress Bree was great, the general manager, Kirk, was one of my uncles best friends, thank you for your kindness! “Made my first trip to Mothers last Thursday as I was part of a Social Group. I've lived in Timonium for over 20 years but hadn't been in that building since it was Appleby's many years ago. There was 10 of us, and being that we were part of group the management allowed us separate checks on this occasion.

From what I heard everyone enjoyed their meal. Abbey was our server and she was great, couldn't have been nicer or more efficient. I'm pretty picky about my salads and asked her about a Caesar with Chicken. Of course like most servers she reassured me it was really good and guess what.......it was really good!! Fresh romaine, shaved parm, and they prepared the chicken anyway you wanted it. I'll be back!“

Inexpensive street parking as well as convenient garage parking near.

Upon entry SUPER CROWDED. College students and young adults everywhere.

Despite the heavy crowds, there manages to always be a seat for my party, the employees are fantastic, and the food continues to be delicious.

Kyle had a big personality and was very pleasant.

Collectively, we ordered the following.
HH-House Wine (White) - Amazing as usual.
HH-House Wine (Red/ White) - Refreshing
Broccoli - Came out cold, sent back for hot broccoli.
HH-Steamed Shrimp - Plentiful and yum.
HH-Grilled Lamb Chops - Tender, well plated, savory.
HH-Thai Chili Wings - Amazing flavor, great texture and temp.
Fries - Ok. Room temp.
HH- Spinach and Artichoke Dip - Very good. Plentiful.

“Absolutely horrible breakfast food! Got an order from Uber Eats and tried to call and they said all I could do was bring the food back for them to make a new one!! Absolutely not! First, I don’t have a car, that’s why I ordered Uber eats!!! Second, I don’t want your nasty food after you try to pass off AN ENGLISH MUFFIN as my BUTTERMILK BISCUITS AND GRAVY! “IND Luncheon class of "71. The food was excellent, and the service was very good. The ladies were all saying how good the food was! We did in March and coming back in April. I would recommend Bowman. I eat there every Monday in the bar. I am never disappointed.“

“First time eating at this restaurant. Seated immediately. Waitress came right away. Had the Italian hoagie with everything. The bread was so fresh. The deli meat was thinly sliced and piled high. Fresh potato chips as a side. The other entree we tried was the Turkey Reuben on rye. Rye bread was fresh. Sandwich was piled high. Onion rings were large and tasteful.

Dietary restrictions: There is an allergy notification at the bottom of the menu stating to inform of any restrictions

Parking: We got there about an hour after the Amish Market opened and had to park about 4 rows over toward the back of the parking lot

Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu. Reasonable prices. Good selection“

“I stop by once in a blue moon- most recently on the Saturday before Christmas while finishing up my shopping. I overheard a staff member telling another customer the wild salmon Niçoise was her favorite so I decided to order it. It was delicious, packed with flavor and very filling. I would absolutely order it again.

This location’s interior would benefit from an interior upgrade or even just a refresh. Of course the space is still functional, but it has a 90s/early 2000s feel to it and it would be nice to see how it would feel with some new touches. New tables and better lighting can really go a long way.“

The first night we were there we went to the bar for a couple drinks, the bartender was very friendly and she made a nice strong drink. The wings were great, nice and crispy and well seasoned, the crab stuffed mushrooms were small and lacked flavor. We had the same bartender, who again was extremely fun to talk to. All in all this is a good spot if you are traveling and staying in the area.“

The hot sauce was a nice addition but if you don’t like your food too spicy, get it on the side. My daughter had the regular cheesesteak and it was equally good. We will definitely be back!!“
