“I visited Judy's Island off the recommendation of @A.I Brown. The restaurant had a nice vibe, the staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was good!! I had the jerk chicken and my husband had jerk lambchops. Both were good...and we would visit again!“

Ox tails were awesome. 1/2 jerk chicken mac and cheese greens plus yams was awesome. Basically, everything was delicious. Mike and his wife can throw down in the kitchen. Check it out for yourself.“

“The food is absolutely delicious here and reasonably priced for the quality and serving size. Service is always friendly, and the woman who's usually taking the orders is super sweet. Just a heads-up, this is not a dine-in place, as the lobby is quite small. Also, they are cash only, but there's a Wells Fargo across the street.“

The chef is amazing the way he blends spices and prepares the food. Omg I love this place. Best Jamaican food ever. It's out Brooklyn and I live 45 minutes away but it is well worth the drive. I plan to visit Straight Jamdown Island Cuisine again and again. This guy loves to cook. I love Straight Jamdown Idland Cuisine.“

“First the food was really good. The lady who prepared my meal went above and beyond to make my order. Secondly they have an apothecary connected to the restaurant with herbs and natural products that are unique and hard to come.by in organic form. I would absolutely recommend checking them out.“

MAN… the pasta is sooo good!! The panini was also delicious, even though the panini pressed grilled bread had steamed inside its wrapper and lost its crispiness.. it was great. Wasn’t soggy just had lost its crunchiness where the grill marks are. I can’t wait to try their chicken pot pie and jerk chicken platter! Crunchy spicy vinegared cabbage onion carrot veggies over a fried snapper with rice n beans you can clearly taste were simmered in coconut milk n spices! Grilled jerk chicken didn't make the shot but you can see the spices and smell it fumigating the area around lunchtime which is what drew me in in the first place! Need time for this dish it's about 15 mins! Small spot big flavor tho! Respect!“

“I came from out of state with my family and decided to eat lunch here. The restaurant was cozy, cool and quiet. We ordered white rice and stew, Oha soup and egusi soup. Our food arrived few minutes later pipping hot and delicious! It reminded us of Nigeria. The food was so delicious that we wanted to thank the chef — the owner.

We ordered more for takeout and can’t wait to return again. The food was reasonably priced too.“
