Prim and Proper Restaurant Cocktail & Wine Bar, now known as Proper Cuisine, offers a stylish atmosphere with black art decorations that create a nice ambiance for dining. The new dinner menu has been well-received, with standout dishes including seabass ceviche, crab soup, Branzino with Spanish sauce, and oxtails. The oxtail egg rolls and grilled oysters have also gained popularity. Desserts, such as the peach cobbler, have received positive feedback. The bar serves excellent cocktails, with Drew praised for his mixology skills. Recent reviews highlight fantastic service, with staff being attentive and professional, dressed in gold jackets. Guests have enjoyed the drinks like Hot Honey Old Bay, and dishes such as red snapper, stuffed salmon with honey glaze, lobster, Mac and cheese, kale, and the sweet potato pound cake. The place is considered perfect for date night or dinner with friends, thanks to its aesthetic that makes diners want to dress up and catch a vibe. Valet parking is available and appreciated by guests, with parking within a block. While many praise the ambiance and food, some reviews mention slow service and small portions, and that menu accessibility can sometimes be an issue. Overall, Proper Cuisine remains a place worth trying for those who appreciate good food and a nice atmosphere, especially for special occasions or casual nights out.
