This place has closed down. From what I can tell, they close down a long time ago. There's no signage outside and no one answers to phone.
The ambience was appealing. Noise level was very loud and chaotic due to guest. The service was very slow. I never received my appetizers. My food for my party was brought out separately. The food and drinks were delicious. The establishment is severely understaffed.

Located in the heart of the city, Prim & Proper Restaurant Cocktail & Wine Bar is a hidden gem with upscale vibes and a lot of culture in the ambiance. The décor is classy and beautiful. The menu is not overwhelming, and the food is amazing with great portion sizes. The Honey Jerk Lamb Chops with the Crab Cake is a favorite dish. The stuffed lobster with creme spinach is good, though the lobster itself was undercooked and cool; the crab stuffing, rice, and spinach were excellent. The lambchops have a little more game than some prefer. The steak egg rolls were not the best. Cocktails are very good with good presentation. The service is wonderful, and the staff is always professional, friendly, courteous, and patient. The waitress was very attentive. For a family gathering of 13, a private room is appreciated. The music is good for some, but can be very loud with inappropriate lyrics. The dress code is not enforced, making it more for a younger crowd. Prices are on par with an upscale restaurant.
