“California rolls are my favorite sushi (I know, basic) and the California rolls here are the best I've had. I hadn't had them served with yum sauce before I had them here but it's a great idea and the quality and price make them worth driving across the city for. They also have yummy mochi donuts which are a fun treat. They have a different flavor from regular donuts (I think it's rice flour?) and I like them better.“
“We have come for years at Hilo at the R House. It is a lively place. We always order the rainbow bowl and it is delicious and worth $20. I am not sure about the customer who complained about little fish in his bowl?? I gave it a 4 star rather than 5 (that they really deserve) because they wanted to charge us $1 for an additional sauce. That’s unacceptable!“
“I went there right after a game, so I am really confident that that would change availability and prob would wear employees out. Food was not bad, it was ok, but not 5 stars because the time and it was just 4 of us left in the restaurant. Some server were killing it, some others were not so involved and I get it. Late night? It’s a big place and looks really good, but is missing administration maybe? I will comeback and change this review. For now 4 stars cause overall is ok, just need some more work.“
“I was looking for dinner while traveling for work in Maryland. I stopped here after stopping for gas at the Wawa. Fantastic counter service poke restaurant. Very fast service. All meats and vegetables made fresh daily. Both the tuna and salmon have excellent flavor and very fresh texture. Lots of sauce, vegetable, and topping crunch options.Vegetarian options: Tofu, avocado, and no meat salad or rice poke bowl options.Dietary restrictions: Bowls are handmade as you order. First off I have to start out saying that I bought this poke bowl at 12 pm, traveled all through the day in the airport with it in a lunchbox, and just now ate it at 8 pm. Literally so fresh I can't even begin to say.SECOND, THIS IS HOW A POKE PLACE SHOULD BE!!!! They do not charge extra for your 3 scoops or desire topics. It's a flat rate, you pay for the bowl and you party hard with whatever you want. They are more than happy to give you the toppings you want and however much of them. The 3 scoops of protein was a little less than I'd want, but the toppings compensated.Lastly, the two girls working the front counter today, fantastic. Not only is this place close to the airport, but they are doing everything right. They aren't charging extra unnecessarily. They want you to have a good experience and leave happy.Great job Halo Hawaiian BBQ and Poke bar! Next time I'm visiting Baltimore, I will definitely come back. $15 well spent.“
“The service is excellent, fast and friendly. The food is excellent I cannot pick a favorite meal because everything taste wonderful. If I had to pick though the miso soup and the poke bowl because you have so much toppings to pick from. Hands down thee best poke and soup recipes. As far as the ambiance the vibes is welcoming.“
