“Marta manages to be both lively and cozy simultaneously in a rowhouse that previously housed Salt (one of my all time favorite upscale restaurants) We went for a friend's birthday, and all 3 courses were delicious, beautifully presented, inventive, and not the same old menu that you find everywhere. Very sweet wait staff was super attentive, educated about the food and wine and made great suggestions. Our original wait staff had an emergency and had to leave in the middle of service, but seamlessly another wait person stepped in to covered us. Kudos to the front of house team for handling with such skill and ease. But the food was definitely the star of the show. For me, the standout was the tuna cannoli. I'm not even sure I can do justice to this deliciousness with a crunchy outer "cannoli" shell with a slight hint of sweet surrounding a creamy center of tuna crudi with little dots of avocado cream. And all was covered with a pistachio "dust." The spicy meatballs were delectable nestled in a cloud of creamy spicy ricotta. And the Duck and Foie Gras Panzotti (little triangle ravioli) was creamy, delicious and the perfect combination of delicate tastes. And the Tiramisu Affogato ended the dinner on a delicious note! He comes to the table not only to greet you and to make sure everything is okay. He even takes the empty dishes off the table. He’s always helping out around the restaurant. Love this place!!!“

“We haven't been here since it was sold. The place is beautiful! The food was excellent and our waitress, Holly was the bomb diggity!!! We had the CRAB COW BERGER and it was the best burger we ever . Moist beef and the crab cake with crab imperial was divine. The fries were cooked perfect, nice and crunchy but just as soft on the inside. They were NOT coated! Prices were very reasonable. When you get food like this, you don't mind what it costs as long as it is great. Again, ask for Holly to be your waitress. The best server we have had in a long time. Professional but down to earth and she was on top of everything. We went to celebrate our birthday's. Holly even sang when she brought our cake out! What a FANTASTIK time we had. “Ordered off of their catering menu for my wife's birthday. I purchased the Margharita Seafood Special with shrimp, scallops and lump crabmeat in a rose' cream sauce and it was excellent! The homemade meatballs jad everybody raving and their sausage, onions and peppers in marinara sauce was also great. Thankfully we had some left overs that we are still enjoying. Lastly was their Greek salad, very fresh and loaded with feta cheese. I definitely recommend these folks for your next lunch or dinner or when you need an event catered. Call and ask for Saul and he and the staff there will take great care of you!!“

“This was my second visit to Love, Pomelo, and somehow it was even better than the first.

We ordered the Carbonara Verde and the Anchovy Toast, and both were incredible. The carbonara was rich and comforting without feeling too heavy, and the anchovy toast was the perfect balance of salty, creamy, and crisp. Every bite felt thoughtful and intentional.

What made this visit unforgettable, though, had nothing to do with the food.

I ended up having one of the most genuine conversations with the manager, Min We started talking as strangers, but I left feeling like I had been seen by someone who truly cared. In a world where we often move from place to place without interacting with the people around us, that conversation reminded me how meaningful simple human connection can be.

That, to me, is the definition of hospitality. It’s not just serving great food. It’s making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for.

Love, Pomelo has become one of my favorite spots in Baltimore, not only because of the food, but because of the people behind it. I’ll definitely be back.“

It's my favorite, too. The lasagna had so much of the wonderful delicate tomato sauce, it was covered. This is the real authentic lasagna of Italy. For a tasty pasta with a kick, the Salmone Al Pesto has a marvelous creamy pesto sauce, & a heaping of small fresh button mushrooms. They say it's only 6 oz. of salmon but the whole plate was covered in large segments of it--it's large enough to take home for a second dinner. Mama had made her own Tiramisu. The delicate sponge soaked with flavor is something not to be missed. Get it when you can. The service from Madison was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable & extremely helpful. This is a wonderful place for authentic Italian meals.“

“My husband and I were looking for a good meal slightly out of the chaos of Fells Point and stumbled upon this most delicious Italian restaurant. Chef John recommended the Rigatoni alla Vodka with shrimp and it was everything. My husband always particular about seafood felt the shrimp was cooked to perfection. We also had the Buratta as an App and took a Tiramisu to go and enjoy later. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable meal with excellent service. We will be back. No matter day or night when she’s on the floor running the dinning room, our dinning experience is A+. Sad to see she’s no longer on tables on Wednesday’s we were so surprised. But that didn’t stop us, we just come on the weekends. We visit on her shifts only so we know we are guaranteed top notch service.
