I love this place so much. Everyone who works here is soooo kind and makes you feel extremely comfortable. The new bar they put in is beautiful! Food is always a hit. The carbonara and fritto misto were out of this world. The owner is truly so kind. Could not recommend this place enough!

Forno is an absolute hidden gem in Highlandtown. The pizza is utterly wonderful with the most amazing, crispy-crunchy crust that sets it apart, and the Italiano pizza is so good. The lamb kebabs are truly outstanding—flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The carbonara is rich, creamy, and bursting with fantastic flavor, though the pasta was a tiny bit overcooked, the sauce tasted so incredible. The fritto misto was perfect—light and crispy. The porchetta sliders were super flavorful, the arancini equally so, and the beef cheeks over polenta was incredible, with tender and delightfully rich beef perfectly matched by creamy polenta. The angliotti was amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, old-school Italian with a wall of wine, an adorable space with lounge area and sofas as well as bistro table dining room, and an amusing mannequin greets you upon entry. The new bar is beautiful, the vibe is great, and the flavors are unforgettable. The staff is very welcoming, kind, and accommodating, and service was enhanced by a visit from the chef. The cocktail menu was diverse and interesting, and the mandarin spritz was a refreshing surprise. Do yourself a favor and go check them out.
