“We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday at Sotto Sopra last night and had the best experience! we were met by name at the door! Given prosecco when we arrived at our table! Had a delicious 3 course meal. And then dessert with sparkler! The atmosphere was amazing - beautiful decor, clean, perfect acoustics so you could hear and talk, but also wonderful selection of music playing in the background. And our waiter was just amazing and so attentive and friendly! Perfect restaurant for your special occasion! I cant wait to go back! Thank you for making our daughter's birthday so special!“

I also served in the military for 23 years and have eaten at dozens of pizza places throughout our great country so I'm very confident in knowing what good pizza is all about and on Aug 30, 2026 I ate at one of the best, if not the best pizza I have ever had at a small corner joint called Angeli's in Baltimore, MD. From the light, airy dough, to the tasty marinara sauce and the high-quality mozzarella cheese all cooked to perfection I was overwhelmed with how good their pizza truly was. And to enhance our experience even more the wait staff and owner was incredibly friendly and attentive and the icing on the cake was meeting Maryann who greeted me with a warm smile and compassionate gratitude when I let her know how great their place and pizza were. Anytime I'm back in Baltimore I will always make time to get a pizza at Angeli's. 10/10 in my book!!!“

Service was Great ( perfect ) Started with Espresso martini ( best I ever had ) Crab soup absolutely delish topped with lots of lump crab meat. No shells. We shared Shrimp Gondola ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AMAZING. Shrimp on toasted baguette bread with simply delicious cream sauce. ( a definite must try) Hubby got pizza with mushroom n sausage. WoW!! I ordered Grilled Chicken Pesto Panni , which came with fries or mixed greens( I opted for mixed greens ) I will have to update on taste because I could not even take a bite of panini. I did eat the greens which were also delish. Do yourself a favor try this place. We will definitely be back. Yes it's a two hrs drive but worth it. Cheers to entire staff. “I was at a birthday catered by Benny’s. The meatballs were outstanding, tender, moist, excellent flavor and the sauce was excellent also! Deep flavors, not strong, with a good texture, without that strong acid, garlicky tomato flavor! Baked pasta was great also! It was good for my tummy also, no reflux, YUMMY 🤗. “Loved that t his place was smaller on the inside than it appeared on the outside so the vibes were intimate. Small, focused menu of really interesting items made it easy. Raw and cooked apps. 5 or 6 small plates and only 2 large plates plus a big sharable large plate (octopus) special for up to 4 people. Good wine selection. great complimentary house-made limoncello to finish out the meal. Even an NA one for those that don't imbibe. Service was great!“

“My husband and I were looking for a good meal slightly out of the chaos of Fells Point and stumbled upon this most delicious Italian restaurant. Chef John recommended the Rigatoni alla Vodka with shrimp and it was everything. My husband always particular about seafood felt the shrimp was cooked to perfection. We also had the Buratta as an App and took a Tiramisu to go and enjoy later. We could not have asked for a more enjoyable meal with excellent service. We will be back. If you are looking for an excellent meal in a beautiful environment I recommend it.“

“I tried to leave a review and it won't post so I will try again. My family and I ate dinner inside on Friday night after seeing the trains. They were extremely busy but to our surprise the food didn't take very long and was just as good as always. Our server (also the manager I believe as she was helping the counter area, as well as getting change for the employees up there) is really why I wanted to write this review. Our son has special needs and wanted HER to pour his apple juice into his cup. Mind you the restaurant is packed and so was carry out, she poured his juice and kept coming around and filling it up a bit more for him throughout our meal. She was so busy but made us feel like the only customers there. She neatly boxed our pizza for us even though she was very busy and I told her she didn't have to do that for us. All in all was a great dinner, Amazing food and fantastic service. They do get very busy and you might wait a bit for a table but it is worth every second of the wait. You won't be disappointed. As far as carry out goes we were sitting right next to the carry out area and the line was across the mall and pizzas stacked on their oven. They were very busy but they seem to get through the line pretty fast so although you might have to wait a few mins to get to where you order the food is worth it. I would watch a man bring up bagged orders and then within a minute our server would check the bags hand certain ones to the people working carry out and yell a number I believe this was to get the people here already waiting their food right away. Seemed like they have a working system for this crazy time. So although the lines seem very long it wasn't bad at all. Our kids also loved the trains. Was the first year they are old enough to really enjoy them and enjoy them they did!“

“I decided on lasagna and meatballs for lunch. For whatever reason, the Columbia location didn’t have lasagna, so I went to the Arundel Mills location. I am very pleased with my decision. I used curbside and didn’t have to wait for service. The employee came with a smile and my food. My food was ample and tasty. The quality was as though I was sitting inside for service.
