“Just a quick review. Absolutely LOVE the food. The owners are both incredibly nice people and the food that the owner creates is beyond good. She is so kind and accommodating as to add or remove from the dish any ingredients you don’t like or add any you prefer so long as she has them available. I’ve come to Racer’s for well over 2 decades and always absolutely love the place from the old days of peanut shells on the floors and the old pool table in the back to its current state and the addition of food in my mind is tremendous. Gone is having to stop at Taco Bell or Dominick’s to get food to take there. Now I can get great food to go with the best happy hour and beer selection in Baltimore. Here’s hoping that Red’s remains for a long time.“
“We love the shrimp fried rice, the chicken wings are crispy and fresh, and the cheesesteak subs are fresh and delicious. The bread is soft, and the meat is seasoned well with toppings. We haven't tried the seafood yet, but of the things we have ordered, it's great. The atmosphere is a take out spot with tables and chairs. We just get carry out.“

“Delia Foley's has trivia on Wednesdays upstairs. We sat downstairs. Service is not bad. Sometimes a little slow, not knowing where the server went but it's probably because they are serving both upstairs and downstairs. The wings are good. Not totally drenched in sauce but we'll covered. Many of their sauces are a variation on their buffalo sauce. The cheeseburger egg rolls were really tasty. I really liked the sauce with them, a variation of thousand Island sauce I think. I'm always a little surprised with how expensive 10 wings can be, but I think it's in align with most places. The wings are listed as MP on the menu. It was about $16 for one order of wings of 10. They have music playing and general vibes are of a bar/tavern. Overall, chill vibes. Good food. Certainly plan on returning.“

“Upon arrival, we followed the faux grass carpet into a clean and open dining area where the comforting voice of a sports announcer danced with smells of rich spices and tea. We ordered Mushakal (veg. stew) and baba ghanouj to split and were pleasantly surprised to have been offered each our own starter soup and salad, hot tea, and a hefty serving of hummus to match the ghanouj. Staff was warm and pleasant, and made us feel as welcome as bubbles in a bathhouse. Food came quickly and was very reasonably priced. Upon leaving, for a moment I was sure that I was walking on a red carpet as soft as it was well-earned, but as I rubbed my rose tinted eyes, it was clear that I stood upon that same strip of turf, humble as the pale moon. As if waking from a dream, well wishes from the cashier waltzed us back into the glaring chatter of a Waverly sidewalk.“

“Wrap-around bar and a handful of tables but as busy as it was we had no problem getting a table. Smartly organized having a small concert venue in the next room and one line to order drinks so people aren't shouting their orders over the shoulders of bar patrons. There's also a big TV so you can watch the band from inside the restaurant. Saw Powerman 5000 there and it was amazing! Was surprised to see so many seniors at the bar smashing food while a heavy metal concert was going on in the next room but the way it's set up it's not really loud in the dining/bar section.“

“Went to Baltimore for a concert and stayed a couple extra days. Finding this place wasn't as obvious as I'd like it to be but it wasn't too crazy. We went on a Friday morning but we were the only ones inside. A few online orders but it was definitely not what I was expecting. Me and my girl ordered the red velvet and the Oreo chicken and waffles with a water and the strawberry kiwi punch. We dined in but our food was served in to go styrofoam boxes and plastic utensils which was annoying when it came to cutting the chicken. BUT the chicken it was seasoned so well and it was so juicy!! The red velvet waffle didn't really taste like much. The Oreo was decent. Next time I would just get a plain waffle tbh. Strawberry kiwi drink was practically sugar. I ended up pour water in it to even out the sweetness. All together it ran us about $38. A bit over priced but I'd go back for the chicken alone.“

“Serious about barbecue but a fun casual setting. Family-run, not a chain, the Nelsons are on site, cooking, greeting, chatting. Multiple sauces they make are great, but I get pulled pork without bread, topped with just the crisp housemade slaw and it's a fine fast tasty low-carb lunch. Dessert specials like fresh made brownies, raspberry butter bars balance that out. And they have a drive-through and live music outdoors some summer evenings. A fab chicken salad made from BBQ chicken added to menu.“

“I’m a southern girl— moved to Baltimore last year for school. Nothing has made me feel more at home than the food here. Absolutely delicious!! My dad and I both got the catfish bites (mine hot honey glazed, his honey Old Bay) with greens and mac and cheese. Catfish was crispy and well-seasoned. Greens were soft and full of flavor. Mac and cheese was baked with plenty of broiled cheese bits. Fruit Punch tasted homemade and absolutely scrumptious. “Ordered delivery to the TA truck stop, I got the 14" Classic Deluxe Pizza, 10pc mild buffalo wings, and a 2 liter of pepsi. The food did not disappoint. The pizza was made with fresh ingredients, and the onions and green peppers still had some crunch to them, unlike the chain restaurants. The wings were like pringles once you pop the fun dont stop. I devoured them one after the other. They were mild but satisfying if you wanted a little spice. Both people i interacted with were polite, and the driver called me to deliver it to my semi truck. If i stop here again, I'll definitely order from here.“
“My food was really goood, The pizza was fresh & hot. Cheese fries was just enough cheese on it. Fries wasn't over cooked. They wasn't to mushy or crunchy. You do have to season your own fries if you don't ask for S/P on it..Which I don't mind that at all.. Cheesesteak was made just how I asked with everything on it & it was meaty too.. ! Besides them only giving me 2 flats out of 10 wings ?they was favorable & fried crispy. Lastly, Delivery was super fast given I had a big order. It came less then 20 mins. I actually just place another order prior to writing this review ?(the ultimate seafood platter). I wanted to check out some more of their food. Overall, I give them 4.5stars & a ??. “I have to give this place props... many of sub shops have came and gone at this location but this is the first I really hope sticks around! A little inconsistent when they first opened but now they are knocking it out of the park. The last several times I've ordered the food has been consistent and delicious. You can tell someone(s) really knows how to cook good food... almost everything I've tried has been at least above average... the fries are awesome and the gravy is delicious. I just had a cheeseburger sub from them for the first time and while it looked weird, it was amazing. Also good to note delivery has always been impressively speedy! Keep up the good work!!“

They had made it fresh right after I ordered. I was pleased with their portion size of fries, and they're packed with seasoning. The sauces are also quite good too and pair well with their sandwiches.My only complaints are that they aren't good with customized orders or sandwiches; they put pickles on my sandwich when I asked for none (both times I ordered). Maybe it was just the second time I visited, but the fries that came in the bag were quite soggy and not as fresh as the first. Overall, I would probably visit again and try another one of their signature sandwiches.“

And the fries ??? they're the amazing seasoned fries. I will say the platter is probably best eaten there since the steam can make the fries a little soggy, but it was good! The spice on the fish isn't hot, so if you're ok with light spiciness (enough for light flavor) then this is good for you without being too spicy.Lamb Gyro: 9/10 the portion was amazing, you definitely get what you pay for here ! We were missing the side of white sauce that we ordered, so that was a bit of a letdown, but nothing major. The lamb is cubed so it's a little different from the Greek style gyros, and the white sauce isn't the same as Greek tzatziki sauce so keep that in mind as well. This is a solid go to if you don't know what to order.Combination rice platter: 10/10 the chicken is moist and a little spicy, it adds a nice flavor to the dish. The lamb cubes are moist, and they put a good amount of meat on the bowl. The basmati rice is just perfect ?. I ordered this with white and green sauce, next time I'll ask for extra sauce, it was just so good!Chopped steak:9/10 we ordered this exactly as it came, it was a little light on the meat, but the flavor was good. I'd get this again. “With my brother in from Florida we decided to try Costas which I had heard was good for crabs. It turned out to be a great choice…..as I had reserved 1 1/2 dozen of the biggest crabs they had. Perfect seasoning and waitress was in the kitchen as they came out of the steamer. My daughter had the crab cake sandwich which she loved and we started with the clams casino which was also very good.
