First time here at Bertha’s Soul Food Bar and Grill. Upon walking in we were greeted pleasantly by the young lady at the counter. We decided to dine in and could choose our own seat. The space is not huge but still nice. My daughter had the Pan seared salmon with rice, Mac and cheese and collard greens. I had a cheesesteak and fries. My daughter enjoyed her food as well as I. The atmosphere was cool, there was a good mix playing when we came in but soon a DJ came in for karaoke.
I really enjoyed my food,two big Turkey wings over yellow rice,mash potatoes with gravy and collard greens. Very good I recommend them. Very soulful. I’ll try something else on the menu next time.

I’m a southern girl— moved to Baltimore last year for school. Nothing has made me feel more at home than the food here. Absolutely delicious!! My dad and I both got the catfish bites (mine hot honey glazed, his honey Old Bay) with greens and mac and cheese. Catfish was crispy and well-seasoned. Greens were soft and full of flavor.
