Perfect seating ~ lots of light & view of the water.Unusual preparation of calamari, not the usual tempura batter, but very tasty, & healthy, with shredded carrots, chopped celery & radish. The shrimp salad on croissant was delicious as usual, and cream of crab 🦀 soup ~ delivered in error and kindly offered to us to keep ~ was one of the best I've had ~ creamy, not too spicy. Only ‘complaint' was the prickly pear margarita was in a very small cocktail glass, not the more generous margarita glass. Christine was friendly & attentive.

Food is nowhere near as good as it used to be, service was very bad when it wasn't even that busy. Bussing staff took their sweet time cleaning tables, and our entrees came out before our appetizers.

Our dinner reservations were for 4:30, Thursday afternoon. Restaurant area was quiet and inviting. When we finished our dinner, 6:30pm, restaurant was full but not overly loud. Our group of four enjoyed our dinner! Food was excellent; we had butternut squash crab soup, cream of crab soup, shrimp croissant, crab cake sandwich, and steamed shrimp. Service was excellent and friendly.

I recently dined at Donnelly’s Dockside in Arnold, MD, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere right on Deep Creek is simply perfect - it's a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal with beautiful views.
The staff was excellent, providing attentive and friendly service throughout my visit. From juicy burgers to fresh seafood, Donnelly’s truly has something for everyone.
Lastly, don’t miss out on trying an orange crush, it’s a must-have!
Food was ok, salad needed more dressing, which waitress did get. The other dish we tried was a shrimp dish which was quite spicy. Not much choice of baked or broiled entree, more like pub food, which we weren't expecting.

We arrived for a late lunch by boat, a beautiful mile down Deep Creek off of the Magothy River. Dock space is very ample. We ate inside, as we had been on our boat for several hours. The atmosphere is cozy, clean, sort of modern nautical, and very inviting. The crab cake was generous full lump with no filler, the best I have had ever anywhere. The soft shell crab was huge and fried to perfection. Donnelly's let's you substitute any side at no extra charge, and the house salad was great. The server was excellent. We have been to most of the Bay restaurants, both shores, accessible by boat including rivers and creeks, from Sparrows Point to Chesapeake Beach; Choptank River, Tilghman Island, Eastern Bay and estuaries, and Rock Hall. Went there tonight. They have 1 and 1/4 lobster with corn on the cob and salad for $23 on Thursdays! What a steal! The service was great and the restaurant/location is beautiful. Everything was perfect, can’t wait to go back.
