Excellent place for picking crabs and a few beers. Crabs were heavy and beer was cold. Service was top notch too

Food and atmosphere are always great. My only complaints has to do w/ the online reservation system and complications/wait having to do with it. Otherwise, great.

We really enjoyed The Point. We had family in from out of town and we're celebrating a birthday. There was plenty of room around the table and delighted in the outside dining. The menu had something for everyone ( some of our crew can be picky eaters). Everyone praised their meals ?

Even though it was crowded and had a waitlist, we were able to relax w a drink and enjoy the beautiful location while we waited. The food was topnotch! The Pineapple Crush was fantastic! Highly recommend a visit here.

#TLDR. The bar is great for drinks. Go someplace else if you want to eat.

First off the place looks great and has a good vibe.

The service at the bar was excellent. Avery our bartender was quick, polite and professional. It was when we got sat at a table that everything went wrong.

Our waiter, (I have no idea what his name was and I am not sure he ever told us) was nice enough and you could tell that he wanted things to be good. I mean he was earnest. But he was just a terrible server.

He would take have the tables drink order, and walk away. Take forever to bring the drinks back. We had to ask for everything. Can we have water, can we drinks, can we order would mind bringing plates, napkins and silverware? I felt like I was the one waiting on the table. When he brought the silverware he brought a random selection of forks knives and spoons. Not enough for everyone.

The appetizers came out randomly as if he ordered them five minutes apart from each other. When the entrees came he had not cleared the table, so there was no place to put them. The empty plates and glassware just piled up high and shoved to the center of the table. One of our guests never got a beer that repeatedly asked for. The easier just kept saying either I thought I brought it to you or I forgot. That same guest did not get their entree with everyone else. I finally got up and approached the waiter at another table and asked if we could get the missing food and he told me he forgot to order it.

Believe it or not it gets worse from here but I am so fed up with this place that I am done.

The bar is good for drinks. Go someplace else if you want to eat.

Was visiting Anne Arundel Community College and found this gem. Beautiful view. I only got the fish tacos and they were really good but hope to give 5 stars by trying more off the menu. This is on my repeat list on a slightly cooler summer day.

The Point never disappoints with one small exception! We went there Saturday, and I had my first Pina Colada Crush of the season. Unfortunately, it was not like previous years! It had too much soda water in it. Otherwise, everything was perfect, and the military discount is a great plus!

While this place is clean there are a lot of flies during warm weather months due to the open windows. The food is ok and comes out really hot. The lump crab dip for instance had hardly any crab in it. However the servers are really busy, they're not really going to be attentive but they are nice when they're present.

Their crushes are made with real squeezed fruit, it's not bad but it's different.

It's a local favorite and the wait times can get up there during peak restaurant hours. It's not worth an hour plus wait but it's nice if you're 20 min and under.

Always a stop for me when visiting friends in Maryland. Can't beat the atmosphere, and add in the great service and food (cream of crab soup and the crab cake sandwich my go to's) and it's highly recommended from me for sure.
