Y’all! I had the pleasure of going to 9Five Kitchen & Bar Friday, March 29, 2024. When I tell you this place did not miss a thing, I mean it. Location is easy to find, parking is plentiful, the staff are friendly and professional, the food is unforgettable and downright GOOD, and best of all, it is spotless! The bathrooms have seat covers with little mats in each stall. I think they check every hour because at no point did I find a messy bathroom. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and gave them their flowers. I will definitely return and tell others, as well. They have earned our support!!!

Very nice ? delicious everything recommended and only 3 minutes from my house I spent 9 years waiting for this restaurant to open I lived 9 years in north linthicum and I saw it every day until they did something very nice with this place.

Terrible “ambiance” no music accept the music resonating from the bar…any way you look there’s something tacky. From the mismatch tile flooring to the weird transition to vinyl or the shaky tables to the salmon bites that had very minimal flavor. The good parts were that the bathroom was lovely & there are some good specials! 1/2 off certain food items…overall it gets 2 stars, feel free to skip it.

Took 2 of my staff for lunch...only party there...staff appeared annoyed we were bothering them to turn the lights on in the dining room as we were told the only seating available @ lunchtime was in the bar...none of us drink...so finally after waiting for someone to make a decision to either turn the lights on and seat us in the dining area or have us just leave..we were seated...the lunch prices were ridiculous...I spent over $80 for 3 of us to have a meal no appetizers no cocktails...when I saw the automatic 18% tip added regardless I knew this was not the spot for us...I usually tip 20% because the wait staff at other locations earn it...in this case all we saw was a bunch of gossiping & laughing hanging out and I actually had to get up to ask for 1 to go container as we only had one hour...they get their 18% regardless & it was obvious nobody cared about serving us since we "interrupted" them w the audacity to be sat, served & pay our bill within 60 minutes...shame...I had high hopes for this location...I will not return...& I didn't even mention the food...kinda not even worth it at this point

We came to the restaurant at about 5:30 pm on Saturday. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the host stand. The person who arrived said the restaurant area was full but we could sit in the bar area. So we agreed but she did not give us menus. The bar area had 3 tables used out of approximately 9 tables (not positive). A server came over several minutes later with menus and water. We didn’t ask for water. We waited again to give a drink order (one soda one cocktail) we got the 1 soda in about ten minutes, but never received the cocktail. We continued to wait a total of 26 minutes. We didn’t have a chance to order anything else. There was one server in the bar area who seemed confused and overwhelmed, and 3 other employees standing by the bar chatting. We left cash on the table for the soda and left. I don’t think I could have stayed for a full meal even if we did get decent service because the music was so loud. It was very disappointing because I had been looking forward to supporting a local business especially since The Rose (previous restaurant) had been closed for so long.

It was very nice will be back.didnt enjoy the crab cakes to much fillers not enough lumb meat..Didnt get to enjoy the Karaoke guess it started after we left at 8 30pm.

Food was very good and so was the service. A little over priced though! There were only 3 of us and was a little upset to see they automatically added 18% gratuity to the check. Since when has gratuity become a norm added to the check. I can see large groups it being added. Gratuity is exactly that. Dependent upon your server. But since it is automatically included is not right. I will not be back.

Strong Family

We went on a Sunday for brunch and were the only patrons in the restaurant. Service was slow at best. We were greeted as if we had disturbed the young lady who finally seated us. We should have walked out then. We were served cold coffee twice, cold grits and some food items seemed reheated and lacked flabor. I was hopeful to have a far more positive experience because we are always looking for large event space. Maybe the vibe is warmer during the evening. However, if I were the owner, I would ensure my brand is not destroyed by training staff and articulating clear expectations. Business owners work too hard to achieve success and over time, small issues can become the catalyst for the decline of any establishment. I wish you luck.
