I made the mistake of ordering uber eats at this restaurant Saturday June 28th. My girlfriend ordered the Build A Burger. They included a number of toppings on her order that she did not request. This is the least of where the problems start. At 4am the next morning I woke up to her howling in pain. She got severe food poisoning from eating at this restaurant. In fact I had to spend 12 hours Sunday with her in the Emergency Room at Johns Hopkins with her because she was violently ill. In addition to her being incredibly sick on account of the food at this establishment she ended up spending from 3pm at the ER on Sunday until 6am Monday. I would not wish what she went through on my worst enemy. If you care about your health do not eat at this place. I have never had a worse experience from a restaurant in my life.

I just moved to Baltimore a week ago and have been exploring restaurants around Fells Point. I stopped into Abbey Burger for dinner and drinks. The bartender was awesome. She was super friendly and made me feel welcome. She even comped me a beer. Things were going great until I offered to help translate for two Spanish-speaking customers (I’m fluent), and one of the employees was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Homie said “I don’t know you” in a tone that completely shifted the vibe. I left immediately and won’t be back. Wish it could be different.
Edit: came back and it was great. Offensive employee wasn’t there. Sucks to see that it was initially ruined by one employee. Definitely he shouldn’t be working here.

I ordered the Smokehouse (bacon, cheddar, BBQ sauce, jalapeños, and fried onions). and asked how they typically prepare it and the server/ bartender said medium - my burger was closer to well done, but was too hungry to make a fuss. I'm not sure how consistent the kitchen is with burger temperatures, so it's something to keep in mind. I was offered more sauce, but that is really not going to make up for meat that is a little too dry. It was fairly empty when I walked in around 6:30PM on a Thursday but filled up a little by the time I was heading out 45 minutes later. They do have outdoor seating, but on a sweltering day, AC is appreciated.

Had the vegan burger and was pleasantly surprised. Great flavor and very satisfying. Staff was great and very friendly.

was greeted by a very rude host and an even ruder waiter, who took 20 minutes to even acknowledge us. and no, it was not busy when we came. the waiters were taking shots together at the bar, while i waited another 15 minutes for a drink. bathroom is RAAAAAANK. i should be compensated for even entering this dungeon.

Walked in from the next-door because we were told that’s where we should get our food from. We could not even sit down before before a large white man behind the bar yelled at us. If you’re here for food, the kitchen is closed in a very aggressive and loud tone. Another white gentleman came out of nowhere with a ponytail as if he was back up .. We were simply pulling the chairs out from the bar to sit down… I said oh you don’t want us here and he looked at me like oh well… Please don’t go there and spend your money there if you are a Black person because I definitely felt like I was in the deep south.

Went to Abbey Burger Bistro on Saturday, February 15th 2025. Total including tip, was $83. Plus an extra $5 cash on the table. While reviewing my credit card transactions, I noticed the total amount jump up to $103.56. I have already filed a dispute with my credit card company for fraud.
I hope the extra $20 was worth it. I will never patronize at Abbey Burger again. Not only was the food and service mediocre at best, they are also thieves that will alter your receipt to reflect a higher tip.

Place is outrageous 18 dollars for a burger 3 dollars for disgusting fries and 8 dollars for a drink 30 dollars for this trash is crazy. For 18 bucks the fries should come with the shitty burger.

Great blt! Empanadas said we would receive a jalipeno sauce. Never got it. Service at a table was super slow. Just go to the bar and order. Hopping place for sports watching! 5 football games on and the orioles!
