Abbey Burger Mt. Washington

My cousin and other family met here on new years eve. I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the delicious bison burger I had. My drink was good too. I'm definitely coming back ASAP. The staff was really really cool and the atmosphere was refreshing.

This place was spectacular. My wife and I stopped in for a burger and we found much more. We had Great Drinks, Great Tomato Basil Soup (made by our Host, Harry) and Great Burgers! Bartenders, Mike and Nate were very hospitable…When you stop in, ask for Harry ( kinda reminds me of Jerry Garcia) - He’ll treat you right.

I was doing a DD delivery and noticed how good the place looked. Told the owner I want to order and pick up after my drop off. Checked out the menu and got a fresh double Angus Burger with pepper jack, mushrooms, and the works made just the way I like it. a side of fried Green Tomatoe Caprese... good gracious, that was very creative and delicious. Abbey Burger should be 10 🌟

Very good food at reasonable prices in a casual setting in Mt Washinton. My burger and onion rings were excellent and the have a good selection of beer as well

Parking: Limited paid street parking, there is a very inexpensive lot two blocks away.

Kid-friendliness: Super chill staff, lots of kids when we were there

My favorite burger spot all time!! They can make any burger you can think of. The sweet potato fries are delicious.
I tried the MD Chopped Salad last time, just as amazing as the burgers! Can’t miss with this place!

Parking: Parking can be a little tricky. There is a lot further up on the other corner.

Just needs to work on consistency. Music is never heard and I always feel like I’m screaming because of how low the music n tvs are.

This for the soup guy, Cajun Gumbo was delicious. Harry was nice enough to offer a sample and serve me the soup as well when I decided to order some. S/o to Harry

Ate lunch at Abbey Burger Mt. Washington yesterday. The atmosphere and service were very friendly. Harry, the soup and dessert chef, came over to tell us about Friday’s option. The soup of the day, jambalaya bisque, was EXCELLENT. Our build-your-own burgers and the sides were delicious. If you like a large bar/pub atmosphere, be sure to check it out.

Harry’s peanut butter pie is out of this world! Also had the Southwest bison burger and it was also really good. Had it cooked medium and it was just the right amount of pink inside and was a really good bison burger. I also appreciate that the jalapeños on the burger were raw and plenty hot, which is just my style of how I like them on my burgers.

Harry is great always make sure to say hi to him if he’s greeting you when you arrive. Great service overall. Will be back!

I just probably had the worst experience at a restaurant ever! The service was horrible, and the food was even worse. My wings came out cool, and my burger came out raw. It was so bad that even the waiter looked at it and said, “ that’s disgusting!!”, when taking it back to the kitchen.

After the wait and kitchen staff finished doing shots, talking on their cell phones behind the bar and flexing in the kitchen, our waiter finally appeared offering to remake my burger order. 20 minutes later our waiter reappeared once again and apologized for the delay. He kindly explained that the delay was due to online orders taking precedence. Another 15 minutes plus goes by, I had given up and requested the check. The waiter had the nerve to say for my inconvenience and trouble, he was “comping me for my burger”. I said wow!! You’re a real sport to comp me for something I never received. He then seemed shocked to know that my burger never came back out. Maybe had he not kept going out the back door with customers he would have been a little more aware what was going on, certainly much more attentive.

It was so bad that my wife even said to my kids, look around, we’re never coming back here again!! So disappointing, this was a restaurant we would eat at quite regularly. Never again!!
