Pros: The decor is very interesting, and the atmosphere is nice. Great deals for daily specials and happy hours. Some of the drinks are quite tasty. The bread pudding is delicious, very sweet and more than satisfying. Our first impression at Ale Mary's was wonderful, and we returned multiple times.
Cons: Our last few visits, the food and drinks were rather hit or miss. e.g. We were told on one occasion that all crushes come with cream (which was a bit odd, but fine). On another day, the lime crush seemed like 85% water, 14% sprite, and 1% alcohol. The quality of the hot food seems to have gone down and could really use salt/seasoning. Previously the service was lovely, albeit a tad cliquish as another reviewer mentions. However, on our last visit we encountered a rude bartender that soured the experience for good... unfortunately will not be returning. No hate to the owners, who seem nice and clearly put effort into running this establishment.
