Perfect lunch on a Friday. We sat in the bar high top. Staff were quick to take our order. The pasta rosa cream sauce with shrimp, mushrooms and spinach was delicious. Garlic bread is a must! Need to try something different next time because the menu has some great dishes. Perfect spot for lunch or dinner. Not stuffy, casual but refined. Perfect lunch for us. A quick walk from work.
Medium size Italian restaurant with a small bar, with a decent-size menu of mainly pasta. The service was quite good, but she seemed rushed, and the ambience is quite nice and cozy. Ordered Caesar salad, amicci pasta, and chicken Lorenzo, and unfortunately both pastas were quite mediocre, both being slightly overcooked (and mushy, since they’re not fresh pasta), and the sauce was only fine. The sausage was a bit too salty and plain, like a grocery store sausage, and the vegetables...
Usually 5 stars across the board from us, but our most recent visit was a bit disappointing. Understanding that they were training new staff, service was slow. The experienced bartender took first order then surrendered us to the trainees. But they did ok, given they were thrown into the fire. The real complaint was our order of mussels, they were microscopic, have had bigger peanuts. The manager did nothing, acted as everything was good, that's just how it goes sometimes...
