I must convey my disappointment regarding the recent dining experience at Ammoora restaurant. The quality of the Kabbah cuisine was notably subpar, failing to meet the standards typically found at comparable establishments. Furthermore, the portion size of the rice served was exceptionally small. For a total bill of $444.23 for four individuals, the value proposition was unsatisfactory, as superior quality and more substantial portions could be obtained elsewhere at a lower cost.

Revisited Ammoora with spouse - exceeded expectations! 🤩 Spicy hummus, harissa cauliflower, Beyti rolls, and tender Lamb Shank stole the show. Transported to Syria in the back seating area. Top-notch hospitality from staff and GM Ivan. Now my fave in Baltimore! Must-try!

Management needs some work. Found a hair in our food, which for this fancy of an establishment and at this price point was disappointing. However, I've never been more appalled by restaurant management when they returned to our table with the food in question to tell us that we were wrong - it wasn't a human hair but rather eggplant skin. Sorry to inform the chef but the skin of an eggplant DOES NOT LOOK LIKE HUMAN HAIR. I am in disbelief that this restaurant would try to gaslight us into thinking otherwise. It's a shame because the rest of the meal was delicious. Sadly, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This was an amazing dinner. We were visiting from out of town and were given this recommendation. So glad we visited, it was truly a memorable meal and experience.
I visited while in town for business in Baltimore the night February 13th, a night when every other restaurant is bending over backwards to please their patrons for Valentine’s Day weekend. My reservation was for 7:45pm, to celebrate a special dance performance earlier that evening - we arrived at 7:49pm dressed in business formal. We were told we couldn’t be seated right away due to capacity. After a 15 minute wait, a hostess guided us to a small table in the parlor, near the bar. I asked why couldn’t we be seated in the main dining room, she said the wait for the dining room is an hour. We sit and it’s immediately evident the parlor experience is subpar - table is small and cramped, it’s near the entrance, etc. We tell our assigned waitress that we’re celebrating something special and her about waiting to be seated in the main dining room - that we don’t mind waiting for however long. She goes and speaks to a manager - we witness this interaction from our seats - and says the manager will come and speak with us. 20 minutes later, no one on the managerial staff - including the manager she spoke with - even so much looks at us as they walk multiple times past our table. Finally, a different waiter, comes to us and says unfortunately they will not be able to move us - at any point in time. We ask how come a manager isn’t speaking to us, he replies he doesn’t know and will go fetch one. After ten more minutes of no one coming and speaking to us, we get up, grab our coats from the front and leave.
It ruined our night. Ammoora and its hosts are snobbish, unaccommodating and condescending.
Avoid this place like the plague. Especially if you’re Black.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Baltimore, if not the best. The service was great and attentive. The manager or owner was there to greet us. They made sure my wife and I had an excellent time.
Second this here. Always excellent. Really appreciate the food allergen listings on the menu. I don't remember that from our first visit. I have had celiac disease for 40 years. Nice to see restaurants making eating out easier without having to quiz the waitstaff on everything. Thank you.

Not worth the money but nice meal only go there for special occasions and probably not returning better food for cheaper elsewhere . Servers nice
Improved serving staff since last visit (summer 2025). Excellent price for serving size, and attentive server. Kind & engaged manager, special treat given for birthday celebration. Cannot beat their ambience! Appetizers are where it's at with Amoora. Two or three entrees are must haves, but apps never disappoint.
We brought our daughter for her birthday. We really enjoyed the food and even the mocktail. I would highly recommend as a special occasion place for dinner.
Excellent experience. Both food & drinks were amazing. Our waitress Yessey was super sweet. Overall great experience, will be returning.
We absolutely love our experience at Ammoora and will be back soon! The atmosphere was beautiful and the whole staff were so welcoming and kind! All of the food was delicious but we’ll be back for more hummus and raspberry sorbet!
