The food and atmosphere were excellent! But Joey, the manager, made it all the better!

Everything was 10/10. The place is very well set up, the food was amazing, and the dessert did not fall behind.

I had the duck, which I highly recommend, and for dessert we tried the brownie. My partner and I loved it — the best brownie I’ve had in a long time.

Great service, and the manager is one of those people you’d love to run into anywhere!

If I’m in town I will definitely return!

Don’t bring your company here!

Never done a google review before but had one of the worst dinning experiences of my life here. Joined in on a company dinner here upstairs. The place was gorgeous loved the vibe. Downstairs smelled amazing. We got upstairs and to they started serving the food promptly.

They had their own servers dishing out the buffet style food for a group of 60 people. Took about 25 minutes to get less than 25 people served. Then they ran out of the one protein they had which we all waited in line for another 20 minutes until the line started moving. 20 minutes later and about 20 people later they ran out of chicken again.

We stopped waiting in line and sat down waiting for a third portion of chicken. After about 25 minutes I waited to go ask the manager for a voucher for food in the restaurant or a refund. He then told me that it was our fault and that we were eating too much chicken even though our food was being severed by his crew. He got really upset at this point and started saying it wasn’t his restaurant fault and that chicken was in the Way. I told him I’ve waited an hour I don’t want food I want my 38 dollars back. (Not much I know) but times two and an hour and 15 minutes of my life plus a manger that was quick to temper. I was done and said I would leave him said review. ( here we are) he then got even more upset yelling about how dare I threaten him. And was starting to become incoherent in his speech saying the same thing over and over. At this point his chef came out and tried to calm his manager.

The Chef then explained that they prepared a set number of meals at 18 per piece. The restaurant charged us 38! Per meal. So an hour and 35 minutes later I got my chicken but as I was getting ready to get my vegetables the ran out.

I’ve eaten all of the United States and all over the world. This is one of my worst experiences at a restaurant of this caliber. I’m sure the restaurant is great but y experience with it was not.

I enjoyed lunch at Ampersea. The view of the water was amazing! The restaurant atmosphere relaxing. The food was very tasty and a good value. Our server, Malik, was pleasant, answered our questions and was attentive. I had a birthday gathering last year at Ampersea and my guests are still talking about this location and the food. The crab pretzel is a must.I recommend this restaurant.

We loved Ampersea! It was easy to make a reservation an hour or so beforehand, and the service was fantastic! We were in the mood for a smattering of random appetizers, and they were all delicious. Notable were the crispy brussel sprouts and seafood bruschetta (pictured). We were very satisfied with the mocktail selection, and the ability to eat right on the water!

Seriously, great nod to service at this restaurant. Our wait staff was awesome. You guys are doing it right!

Joey is amazing!!!! I found this restaurant on tiktok and decided to give it a try. The atmosphere was so nice and inviting. Outside seating offers a beautiful view of the water but it is equally beautiful on the inside. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Food and drinks were great. (I ordered the Spicy Rosa Pasta). The manager (Joey) was extremely nice and engaging, he even offered to take our photos.
Overall I would absolutely recommend Ampersea, as I myself plan on going back soon.

This was a quaint little seafood restaurant on the waterfront of downtown Baltimore. I ordered the pan-seared salmon and added a crab cake. The food and service were both superb and I highly recommend this restaurant!

Beware! The gratuity is automatically added on! I wasn’t expecting that! So I didn’t have an option to tip my server! The food was delicious, and the service was good…

My partner made a birthday reservation at Ampersea. The food was amazing! The mussels are the best I’ve had in a long time. Joey, the manager, was so kind and made my partner, friends, and I feel so welcome! Birthday cake on the house and Joey took group photos for us to keep happy memories for the future :)
