During our trip to AmperSea, the food and scenery were excellent; however, we had to wait over an hour for our meals. Others who arrived after us were served and provided with drinks, but our server never offered us any beverages. Additionally, we were unaware that gratuity had already been included in the bill, and regrettably, our server received an extra tip. That was a complete ERROR! He didn't merit the initial tip, but we didn't want to appear impolite.
We had a great experience, as always! We dined outside and the view was stunning, our server knew we were on a bit of a time crunch made our meal happen efficiently, and the food/drinks were delicious, too!
Quality of food and prices are average for casual fine dining in Fells Point, but the service was not on par with similarly priced restaurants. The service was slow, waiter was inattentive, and the kitchen was slow. To be fair, they had two large parties when we arrived, so that may have set them back. 18% gratuity is automatically added, which is fine, but might explain the lackluster service.
