I've purchased salmon and tuna on three occasions and each time the quality and freshness was outstanding and the price very reasonable. Also the employees are very friendly and answered my questions about the sourcing of the fish.Perfect for making your own sushi or poke bowls and saving a ton of $$$.
We ate at the bar outside because the dining room was quite noisy and had a wonderful experience.I was first very surprised by my cheviche since it didn't look like the ones I had in Peru, but the combination of cucumbers, pineapple, lime, and apples was absolutely delicious. The creamy soup crab and the Po'boy were at the same level than the ceviche: delicious. Thanks to our server, whose attention added to the quality of the Atlas Fish Restaurant.
I like this place. If you’re worried about the prices then don’t come. If you identify as native sobo, and you’re salty, don’t do it either.I like the ambience, the folks working there and hanging out in a posh spot that I’ve known my whole life. Some folks might be turned off by the gentrification, but this place would’ve been passed over and died without it.
