Atwater's is my favorite place for many reasons. Comfortable community atmosphere, enjoyable food and drink, and great staff.
In 6 years I've seen Atwater's with a great track record for hiring and training members of its team.
But I'd like to credit two in particular today.
Joey, the new manager settled into his role quickly just this year and is very engaging, friendly, and happy to help customers directly alongside his team.
Alyssa is another fantastic worker and leader in the team. Always paying attention and focused on keeping everything in order and working efficiently. The whole team performs well. But she routinely performs above the standard.

Had their "tofu bahn mi". Besides that they couldn't be bothered to spell "bánh mì" correctly, there was no part of this sandwich that would warrant the name. It was on the wrong type of bread, with no jalapenos, seasoning, or flavor whatsoever, and the vegetables were not pickled. It was a handful of raw, unseasoned tofu and vegetables and was one of the worst-tasting sandwiches I have ever eaten.

they come to my farmers market in dupont. good bread, but literally hurt my jaw trying to bit through the rock hard exterior of an otherwise fresh, one-day-old baguette. similar experience with the sour dough loaf

I served Atwater’s cupcakes at my wedding and they were a huge hit! Why select one cake, when your guests can choose from a ton of cupcakes! It was such a pleasure working with Keith and the catering team to pick our cake and icing flavors! And they were really accommodating about providing the ingredient list so people with allergies knew what was in everything. Thank you Atwater’s!!!

If you have a chance you should absolutely join in on an AIA Doors Open Tour. During this tour we received a full insider's peek into the history, expansion, and operations of the company. We even were able to sample the products as well.
