Not sure where to begin, but let me say on a Saturday night at 7::00 they did not have any bottle or glass of Chardonnay available, nor did they have the beer my husband wanted. I work in F&B so perplexed at how this would happen at a busy and popular restaurant. The food was not bad, in fact quite good; however, in order to get anything during dinner (beer, additional dressing) required me getting up to find someone. I even had to track down our server for the check. She was very sweet when we did get to see her. My husband and I are willing to give it another try when we visit Baltimore again as again, the food was quite good.
It was our waiters second day and they had him by himself not shadowing, not a good idea. We ordered all of our food at the same time( appetizers, entrees and drinks), because we had a show to go to @7...our reservation was for 4:30. We placed orders @5 drinks came approximately 5:30 food approximately 5:40. The only thing that didn't come was my burger and beer I ordered. I asked the waiter 5 times about my food but nothing ever came. I asked to speak to manager and was told the waiter is new and apologies. My burger and beer didn't come until 6:20, it was comped but the excuse that the waiter is new was not an excuse. I've been a waitress before and you have to shadow someone for at least a week. This was no fault of the waiter but it was of management. We let the waiter know we understood and it wasn't his fault and gave him a $100 tip that he deserved for being put in that situation. Please do better. This was our second time patronizing the restaurant our first time was awesome that's why we came back
We had a nice experience although the restaurant was clearly understaffed. Our server had 8-10 tables and was basically serving the entire place. He managed however, to make our dining experience a good one. My clam chowder and crab cakes were both very good. My husband did not find much crab in the crab soup however and his short ribs and gnocchi was very salty. The wine list was also a bit lackluster.
The service was terrible...the food was sub par. The drinks were pretty good. I recommend the bar to just grab drinks but go somewhere else for food.
We had reservations for a Wednesday and we were initially the only people there. The waitress, though very nice, had on cloths that were casual. Not cloths you would wear to work. For an empty restaurant the service was slow and we didn't get everything we ordered. We ordered the Caesar salad. The romaine lettuce was old and the Parmesan cheese was like sawdust. The NY strip was delicious, but the fingerling potatoes were over cooked. Overall, the restaurant was clean and had an old feel which I like, but most everything else was a disappointment. There are so many other great restaurants. I do not recommend.
Ok. Serious shout out to the really hot and charming and wonderful bartender with dreads and glasses. He made me and my fiance the BEST old fashioned and Manhattan we've ever had. Our friends had the speciality hibiscus purple vodka drinks which were beyond delicious and beautiful. I'm so sorry I didn't catch/remember your name - but cheers to you handsome bartender with dreads and glasses. You made our night ❤️

I'm not one to leave negative reviews. However, I just had the worst dining experience. It started off with our drink order being put in incorrectly, which was soon rectified. No big deal. Next, our food order was forgotten, which happens and is understandale from time to time. Once placed our waiter offered to add in garlic bread. Great. Once the order was finally received, the garlic bread was no where in sight. Normally, in these circimstances something gets comped. Nothing was. No garlic bread. No free dessert. No nothing. We're not looking for handouts, but when someone is obviously not having a dining experience that is representative of the restaurant, something should be done to change the experience for the better.
On the plus side when the we got the correct drinks and the food finally did arrive it was good.

Food was delicious!!
Had a great lunch at the B&O Brasserie and ordered their Signature Burger, it was the grand-slam dish of the day. It was cooked perfect med-rare. A marvelous place for a downtown lunch. They have a very nice happy-hour as well. The Hotel Monaco is located just minutes from the Inner Harbor & Charm’tastic Mile.
