Very happy this place is closing. They booked trivia event, and cancelled the day of, because they chose to do the bar crawl instead. Good riddance to this place. They’ve done this multiple times. No wonder it’s shutting down, they don’t know how to run a business properly.
Please get rid of QR code menus, auto gratuity for the employees that don’t do anything more than carry food to the table. And the tacos were dry and tasteless.

I had a great time at Baja Tap! The food is great! We literally walked in because we could smell their food outside ? The bartender Travis was VERY attentive and his drinks were so good! He gave my sister and I, some very informative information about Tequila. If you visit ask for Travis he’s super personable and he had great vibes. I cant wait to come back and bring a few friends.

A-maxing beverages, great service from Travis. Highly recommend!
Sweet plantains and the al pastor tacos were great! The bartender recommended the passion fruit margarita and I'm so glad he did, yummy!

I recently visited this Mexican restaurant at the waterfront, and while the location and ambiance are undeniably charming, the food and service left much to be desired.
We started with a margarita pitcher, which was mediocre at best—too much ice diluted the flavor, making it forgettable. The nachos were bland, and the tacos (we tried carnitas, carne asada, and pollo) were all dry and flavorless. The churros were decent, but the chocolate dip tasted off, which was a letdown.
Another odd aspect is the ordering system—you have to place your order through an app, which is convenient in theory. However, with a 20% gratuity automatically added, it feels unnecessary, especially when you're ordering stuff yourself.
Overall, I'd say it’s a pass unless you're just looking for a nice place to sit by the water.

I utilized Baja Tap to host a large event. It was a great location and atmosphere. The staff was accommodating and attentive. I hope to work with them again in the future!

This place has great potential given its perfect location and beautiful patio. However, the quality of the food is currently what's holding it back. The tacos are mediocre at best, and certainly don't justify their price.
I think the owners should decide whether this place is a fun bar with cheap and OK food, or a place you'd actually go for a good meal. Right now it's not doing either particularly well.

The venue is good. You don't have the ability to call the bar and ask questions. If you call the number it tells you to send an email. Terrible customer service.
