I tried the strawberry, yellow w/ chocolate icing and sweet potato cakes and all 3 were delicious. The classic yellow w/ chocolate icing was the most moist and my favorite. Decent prices for slices. Friendly customer service.

I was out in Reisterstown visiting a housebound friend. On my way back in to town for a dinner party I saw the Baked in Baltimore sign and stepped in to get some stuff to bring. The customer area is a bit dated but the tall gentleman who helped me select a 7Up pound cake and a sweet potato cake and a bag of snickerdoodle cookies took pride in his offerings and they were a hit at dinner. Thumbs up to the baker. So definitely a great experience

I wanted to support this business since I was in the area. I saw the sign on the door that said “Ring the bell,” but then noticed the door was unlocked, so I walked in. A guy came out from the back—no smile, and honestly, he looked bothered by my presence.

Anyway, I did buy a few items—it was my first time here. The sweet potato pie was great, I mean really good! I can’t wait to try the rest of my treats for lunch tomorrow.
