I ordered a boba and a beef bowl. Without letting me know, they substituted my boba with a water. Even more, they wrote “take water” on a piece of tissue?don’t assume I want anything else besides what I have ordered. Plus I have to contact the food app to get refunded.AT LEAST CALL OR MESSAGE BEFOREHAND.

Best duck I've ever had. The fried rice was so flavorful. I also ordered the Mongolian Beef and it did not disappoint. My husband and I enjoyed everything. We will definitely be ordering again.

First time here and in Baltimore. This was a nice pot stop and there’s also seating. Drinks and Food was delicious, try the milk teas and xiao long bao, you’ll love it! And the bulgogi bowl was filling!

Cultural appropriation at its absolute worst. Ironically, the logo just means “white” in Chinese, which is apt because this place is so obviously 100% white-owned (google it). Food was gross and the staff looked miserable. Plus the white owners just took a bunch of random Asian motifs with no respect to food or community and butchered them together to create the biggest insult to Baltimore. Look, there are several other American-style Chinese joints with better food. Please go support those immigrant-run family businesses, not here. When this restaurant opened, the owners did an interview where they proudly claimed they consulted “Chinese nationals”. Whoever helped them must’ve not liked em very much. It’s hilarious that their logo means “white” (nothing poetic or food-related), as if a warning sign to avoid this place for its racism.

The most delicious boba tea I've had lately - tea tastes good and the boba not too hard(!?)I tried the sambal chicken, slightly reluctantly but was pleasantly surprised by the crunchiness and "yumminess" of the chicken. The side dish of vegetable (cabbage or had a sweet vinegary taste that balanced out the bao.The server/cashier person was also very attentive and polite, and service was quick.I hope they have continue to do well, coz I think this was a different resto over 5 years ago. This is my new fave spot for boba and buns, and I'm excited to try more dishes!

At least once a week, I find myself deserving of a sweet treat. And at least once a week, I decide that my sweet treat should be Bambao's bubble tea. I get the taro milk tea and it is slurpalicious. Get yourself a sweet treat. You've earned it.

This was really good! No one item is expensive but if you go al carte it can add up, but with food this good, who cares? Not a lot of room to eat in but it was certainly OK on a random Friday afternoon. My wife loved her bulgogi beef bowl, and my chicken broccoli was really quite good. The side of spring rolls were really on par with a well-established Chinese place. Friendly staff, immaculately clean place, and good prices. What's not to like?

As a visitor from NY, I am very happy to have a dinner at BANBAO with Teriyaki Chicken and broccoli on brown rice, which is delicious with good quality. The owner are very warm and polite.

i'll be perfectly honest - the food here is pretty good but it is a little pricy compared to other places. the service is hit or miss - sometimes they are fast sometimes they are slow. but the food overshadows the service. i ate there three days in a row.
