Went for a night out with some friends. We didn’t drink a whole lot but we did each order food. We were very surprised when the $15 burgers didn’t come with fries. And the food took over 45 minutes to come out. The falafel burger was very overcooked and the falafel was completely crunchy. The bartender was nice but the food fell very short.

Visiting Baltimore for the first time and stumbled upon this GEM in upper Fellspoint! The owner/bartender, JR, was very warm and hospitable. My friend and I sat at the bar. She ordered the drink of the week and I ordered the "message in a bottle." Y'all it was delicious! JR asked me a few questions before whipping up a bespoke cocktail, which made it so fun. And since we came at the beginning of the week, my friend was the first person to order that week's Drink of the Week so she got to name it! We also ordered the jerk chicken fries to share and they were BOMB. Seriously one of the best things I've eaten in Baltimore this week! If you like tiki bars, or just want to try a local spot, you gotta try this place out!

Finally! A legitimate tiki bar in Baltimore! Jungle room is a quaint and cutely decorated tiki themed cocktail bar adjacent to Patterson Park. The atmosphere is casual and unassuming, but well adorned with various island plants and decorations. Jungle Room's aesthetic strikes a solid balance between building authenticity and trying too hard. Luckily, at the jungle room you'll get more than enough authenticity from the passionate and deep craft of their cocktails. There's no shortcuts here, the citrus is freshly squeezed, the mixers are real, and the recipes are on point. Bring a friend, grab a scorpion bowl, and take an Uber home. Jungle room is a spot where you'll want to try everything on the menu.

Whoa, what a place, high end cocktails at not high end prices. JR is the mixologist with the most! Oh and he also was in the top 5 from over 100 entrants at the thrashers rum cocktail contest in DC. Ask for the message in a bottle, you will not be disappointed! And the food, yum, worth going there just for the poke bowl. The Jungle Room in Baltimore, definitely on the circuit!

My god these are the best tiki cocktails I’ve ever had, possibly even the best cocktails in bar none! Definitely get something with the aged lime in it, it’s such a wild experience. As far as food, we only got fries, but the food also looked surprisingly good and smelled delicious. The bartender/owner is super cool and friendly and really knows how to make a good drink. What a great great spot to have in this neighborhood!
