Don’t go to any other crab place on the block. They cost a lil more for a reason lol and BEST CRABS is not a misnomer.

I will never buy best crabs on Monroe St Baltimore City MD crabs again from here again some one else hair was in the crab claws in the bag of crabs fresh opening them out of the bag never going back

Today I had a taste for some kind of seafood sub so I traveled down to crab Alley which if you're not familiar is where you have a series of Crab houses on both sides of the street pretty popular seafood area. When I Entered the restaurant called best crabs which is not written on the building at all I had to find the name to write this review of my disappointment of my first and last experience with that restau rant and its owner l love all the changes Baltimore has made in order to cater bike and scooter riders . I own a couple of folding electric scooters And until today no business has asked me to leave my scooter outside including giant Safeway shoppers McDonald's KFC Popeyes Sung gas station Sunoco gas station no store or business has ever asked me to leave my scooter outside and if you ride through you'll see that is not a neighborhood that wouldn't want to leave anything outside , so the person I believe to be the owner did not ask but told me to take my scooter outside and then before I can say anything turn them walked away and close the door I started to speak to the employee promising him that I would keep it in my hands and not attach the floor that I really did not want to leave my $300 scooter outside the door in that area He quietly agreed and start taking my order for oyster sub and two backfin crab cakes Mind you the whole time I am not sure of the first personality so I'm asking if you just want me to leave and not leave my scooter outside so after my order was taken the owner came from behind a door and with the raised voice order me to leave again and told me hit the policy with no bikes scooters or skateboards allowed in store which of course I looked for any kind of signage and there was none . I cannot or will not say that the owner was racist in his actions towards me since I was the only person in the restaurant he could be just a real jerk . When I Entered a couple of stores in the immediate area no one had anything good to say. one thing I was told was that If to buy a soda he wouldn't even sell you a Unless you buy crabs from him ! I did at first think he was racist but the other people who I met that complained about him happened to be Caucasian so I guess he's just all around jerk

I purchased a 1/2 bushel of crabs 03/11/2017, I must say they were meaty, and good, It was my second time at Best Crabs, I more than likely will return, Also they were recommended to me by a friend.
They used to be on point. Their snow crabs are very little for the price they are charging. I stop going there and I was a regular.

Do not shop at this restaurant I bought a soft shell crab at this restaurant along with some shrimp. The crab was nasty and mooshy. The oil was old you could tell. They refused to give me my money back. Or give me something in replacement of my money. They kept the crab sandwich and left me with nothing.

I went here a total of three times. Each time the crabs i got were empty, and light weight . One time i asked for some claws they had on display, got them home and they stunk so bad and the meat was foul and mushy, they gave me a credit for them but I just can’t keep wasting hard earned cash at this establishment.

Was at the nearby park at a bbq and decided to get some crabs. I decided to stop here because I remember how good and fresh they used to be when I would visit my cousins over the years. The crabs I received were $85 a dozen and honestly they were light and some seemed to be smaller than the rest. I'll stick to the spots closer to my area

When to buy crabs today. They had $80 females that looked like $20 crabs. I declined to buy them. Ask for 10 ears of corn. This business refused to sell me corn, because I didn’t buy crabs. Crazy, instead he so distastefully basted his competitors on the block. Let me know business not booming & his crabs are trash. Try to take the bad crabs out, your store smells worse than your attitude
