A little pricey but the sandwich was big. First time. Had the brisket sandwich with a roll and recommended sauce. Roll was so-so. Didn’t care for the sauce. Meat was good.

Great old establishment with a menu of different BBQ sauces, pulled meat sandwiches, and ribs. They don’t make places like this anymore.

Parking: Parking is a bit awkward, you need to find street parking as far as I could tell.

I've been coming here for years. Everyone is always welcoming, happy, polite and wear smiles. Prices are very reasonable. My favorite place for hot soup when it's in season.

Ribs were very good and tender. Fall off the bone. Mac and cheese and collards were amazing. Cornbread was sweet but really dry.

Well, I was craving some beef ribs. It's hard to find a ace that sells them. I decided to try Big Bad Wolf's. They were not that good. I had three pieces of beef ribs which were charred. I had to eat around the charr and the meat was tough. The Kansas City sauce was weak. The service was OK. I'm glad I didn't go for the sides. $23 wasted and not even a meal, just meat!!

This is a true, BBQ dive. I had the Carolina pulled pork sandwich, and it tasted of real vinegar, as it should!!! The potato salad and cole slaw are good as well (both needed a little salt). I understand why the place comes highly recommended by local food writers. I will go back, and I will try other foods on offer. We stuck around and ate at the picnic table out front, but this is a take-out place, only; so, there is that.

Today I was dreaming about Ribs and I was ready to pay for the quality I received in the past before Covid and today for my $34 price tag I was completely disappointed. My Portion size was less than half of what I've gotten in the past. My cornbread slices was the size 1inch by 1inch and DRY! 1 was a slightly burnt corner.. My beef ribs was slice like 4 strips of Fatty beacon with bones and not the half rack I Received in the past. Did I forget to mention cold, Dry, and dang near Jerked in texture..... My heart and Stomach broke. My Gries and lemonad was good. But I paid and tipped and feel like I got Robbed by gangsters. I paid what you asked so give me the respect of a good meal that I told you over the phone I was dreaming of.... Food restaurants whatever you wanna call it nowadays feel like they can get away with giving us inferior product for a hard earned money. I Tell friends, family tourists event personal to go to BBW for great food and now I have to just do Mission from now on...
I live Mom and Pop spots but days like this...!!!
