Came here with a large party for my father’s birthday, and the experience was outstanding. We started with the dip medley and meatballs—both full of flavor without being too heavy. Most of our table ordered seafood, and everything was exceptional. I had the rockfish but also tried the Mediterranean sea bass and Dover sol; each dish was cooked perfectly and incredibly fresh. The staff was great. Black Olive is one of my favorite spots to visit whenever I’m in Baltimore. Highly recommended

We had the braised lamb shank and the filet mignon. Both were excellent. We had a nice old vine wine. For desert we had baklava and baklava ice cream. The atmosphere, service, food, cocktails were all, as usual, fantastic. This is one of my regular goto places when I want high-end dinning. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Black Olive never disappoints food selection and taste is excellent along with a great variety of wines

The grilled octopus appetizer was amazing! The Mediterranean Sea Bass was delicious! There are lots of great desserts. I enjoyed the Tiramisu.

My husband wanted to go to The Black Olive for years. It was his birthday so my son, daughter in law, husband and myself went. It was a charming restaurant, a la authentic Baltimore style, great food, and service. The menu offered a great selection of options from several mezza plates, soup, salad, entrees, and main course. We had filet souvlaki platter, scallops, vegan Pythagorean, fish soup, sardines wrapped in grape leaves and greek salad. Everything was exceptional. The sardines and scallops were grilled to perfection with an extra Mediterranean flavor. The Pythagorean was delicious and the phylo dough great. We ended with the carrot cake. They gave my husband Baklava ice cream for his birthday with cordials. I can't say too many good things about this place including the wait staff who was attentive and helpful. There were so many good items on the menu to go back again to sample. Although it was not inexpensive, the quality of the food and the price matched.

The branzino and lobster pasta are fantastic. My wife also recommends the fish soup!

The service was beyond your normal service. Our friends ended up getting hung up trying to get there. The restaurant was very accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Great recommended Greek wines. Would definitely recommend and will go back if in the area.

My family and I really enjoyed our time at Black Olive. We all got a different fish for our entrees and all were delicious. I would highly recommend for a special occasion.

What an enjoyable meal, from the gracious bartender to the terrific waiter to the meeting and greeting of the owner Demetri who came to our table and introduced himself. This place just gives you the feeling of a special occasion. Somehow we met a group of special people That added to the evening. This restaurant fits in with the prime rib Grill, the Milton in the Manor Tavern and the Pierce's for a great place to have a special occasion.

Delicious and very chill ambiance. Wine and cocktails were good and all food was excellent. Has the stuffed calamari, lobster pasta, lamb chops, and tiramisu. Recommend all of it!

Went 2 weeks ago and was soooooo surprisingly pleased, that I've been telling everyone about it. I almost never order seafood, but I had THE BEST Chilean Sea Bass (served whole)... we just booked a return visit for this Saturday.

I had always walked past the restaurant and wanted to try it, so I finally did with my mom. The cute outdoor seating was perfect. Appetizer - Hummus. 1st course - Greek Village Salad. Main - Filet Mignon Souvlaki Platter (they even agreed to an extra plate of the sides, for a charge, as my mom and I split everything). It was good portion sizes, not too much and not too little, and all delicious. The service was pleasant and friendly and timely. Would definitely recommend.

I went to black olive for my birthday and the service was quick and they were very friendly and attentive. The lamb and shrimp combo with broccoli and potatoes were amazing. The broccoli was well seasoned. I also had the lamb meatballs and pita bread which were great as well. They gave me a free dessert and I had the chocolate mouse which was amazing. My boyfriend had the filet mignon and he said it was the best. I would definitely go back to this restaurant.
