The biscuits are usually delicious unless you catch them on a bad day. Service is also friendly, place is clean with a couple of places to sit.
Fair warning regarding ordering ahead when in a rush, the pickup time Toast gives you does not matter. They don’t start preparing your order until you actually arrive and check in, so you can walk into the restaurant ten minutes after your given pickup time and still wait an additional 20min for your order to be ready if they’re busy.
Always impressed. Yesterday I got the fish box and it was so amazingly good that I’m just thinking “fish box” and smiling to myself???? definitely hope to see that on the menu again. The biscuit, the fish, the slaw and the sauce were so freaking good.
DELICIOUS food and great service.
A Baltimore staple - had limeade and a grilled sweet potato with miso butter today but you literally can't choose wrongly here.
Blacksauce has been one of my favorite discoveries for several years now. The biscuit sandwiches and cider at the farmer’s market are always top tier! I love the rotating menu every Thursday. Anytime they have short rib on the menu, it is a must have for me. I also really love their oyster mushroom Po’ boy 🔥 The service is also always friendly and the owners/chefs are super personable and extremely talented at what they do. If you’re looking for delicious and inventive dishes, come here!
Delicious food served by great folks. A Baltimore gem, best biscuit in the city.
I've eaten Blacksauce's catering 3-4 times now over the last two years and it's been absolutely delicious each time.

Food portions are absolutely terrible. My Thanksgiving catering order was $200 and the portions are not worth it one bit.
Delicious!

Had the egg and cheese with fig jam on a gruyere biscuit, and it was life-changing. Perfectly tender, flaky biscuit with a flawlessly cooked egg that paired amazingly with the fig jam.
Person at the counter was very sweet and offered a recommendation when I asked whether the sandwich would be better with a plain buttermilk biscuit or the gruyere. Also loved the atmosphere; I only hung out for a minute while I waited for my order, but everyone working there seemed to genuinely like each other, and it made for a very pleasant wait.

Highly recommend. A great menu every week
I did an online order for a rotisserie chicken apricot biscuit and it was delicious! My order was ready right on time for the time that I scheduled to pick it up. It was also a nice portion size, which I loved. The peach jam on the biscuit really made all the flavors standout!
