Food is the absolute BEST from the sandwiches to the homemade donuts. BEST donuts in town
Blondie’s Donut is a solid spot if you’re craving amazing donuts and cinnamon rolls—those never disappoint. However, when it comes to their sandwiches, the experience can be hit or miss. My partner and I often have to get our sandwiches redone, possibly because the kitchen is rushing orders when it gets busy or because I place pickup orders that they assume won’t be checked until later.
That said, they are accommodating when mistakes happen, and the second attempt is always great. But for the price, the food and service should consistently be above average the first time around. If you’re here for sweets, you’re in the right place. For sandwiches, be prepared for a possible do-over.

I’ve visited this bakery about 4 times, and the experiences have been hit or miss. The first visit was great, but the others were underwhelming. My most recent visit was on a Sunday morning at 10 AM, a time when you’d expect everything to be fresh. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The cinnamon roll was dry and STALE, and my sandwiches were made wrong (which take 20 minutes to make) so was there for 45 minutes.
Customer service was also disappointing. The staff didn’t seem busy but lacked enthusiasm, empathy, and a willingness to help—almost as if I was an inconvenience. It’s unfortunate because I came intending to promote the bakery on my Instagram and TikTok, where I have a large following of 300,000 followers. However, I left disappointed and chose not to share my experience at all.
this place is outright Just amazing!!! If you live in Edgewater, passing through Edgewater or in the area, you have to try this place. The breakfast sandwiches are to die for the cinnamon buns are insane.
The service was wonderful, and the food was superb! I recommend everyone try it; you won’t be disappointed.

Favorites: ANY STUFFED DONUT… especially with their delicious pastry cream oh my god. Banana cream pie one The chai one The Baltimore blonde. Any stuffed donut is a win!
My favorite sweet roll is the praline one. I find the plain ones to be a bit more on the dry side. Oh sweet potato sweet roll! Phenom, bc it maintained the moistness.
The apple butter and other fruit flavors sometimes are overly sweet.
Cake slices - you have to leave these out on your counter for a while before eating them Snickerdoodle was good, I would say 7/10 The bottom layer of it was very dry but the rest of the cake moisture made up for it !
